I have been playing an extremely low-end classical guitar for a few years now & decided that an upgrade was definitely in order. I shopped around & found that this guitar not only had a great rating, but was also well within my price range. I was astonished when I received this guitar. It has the wide neck that I prefer on a classical guitar, & the tuners look like those found on far more expensive guitars. The finish is flawless. Not only does the guitar itself look very classy, but it has great tonality. It sounds wonderful completely acoustic, & even better when I run it straight into my PA. The XLR jacks allow for some superb sound quality. I mostly do solo acoustic shows, & this guitar will make set-up a breeze. I recommend it to anyone looking for a great classical for a reasonable price.

This a real guitar with real wood and I recomend it for those who are not stupid enough to waste cash on a cordoba that cost 10X as much but has same features and sound. The gloss isn't that plastic crap that chips of when you bump it,like you find on other guitars, it is real the kind you find on pro guitars. The action is right were you want it for classical technique. Of course it is a tad higher that an elctric guitar but it is adjustable. The sound reminds you of Al De Meola and Paco Delucia. The built in tuner is actually more accurate than my hand held one. The description fails to mention that the guitat has two jacks, the standard kind and the one with three prongs sticking out. Overall great guitar, looks pretty awesome and the strings that come with it a very good (Addario). Buy it.

I tried many value-priced classical guitars, and the Dean just blew them all away. It is a little more expensive than the super-budget priced though. I am not a classical player, more of a Willie Nelson picking and strumming with a pick style. The solid top makes a world of difference in the sound of this guitar. The fit and finish is superb, and the preamp does the job. The only complaint I have is the action. I don't know what expectations are of most classical guitars, but the action on this one becomes more of a problem as you travel up the neck. Not the end of the world, but it makes bar chords a little challenging. Overall, great guitar for the price, I'm even using it in place of my steel string dreadnought on stage!
