Now you can own the Dimebag Dixie Rebel - an electric guitar designed by Dimebag himself. Dimebag Darrell was a walking textbook of modern metal guitar techniques, liberally spraying bone-crushing power chords, dissonant intervals, tremolo arm insanity, and a shredding lead voice worthy of the masters. The Dixie Rebel guitar features an ML shape with sharp corners to enhance the rebel flag design. The graphic looks like a real fabric flag that has been to battle. Star inlays on the rosewood fretboard are highlighted by a" REBEL" inlay at the 12th fret.

With a fully bound mahogany body and set neck, you'll get the wicked sustain and tone you expect from a Dean guitar. The Dimebucker bridge pickup supplies tons of power, and a double-locking Floyd Rose Licensed tremolo setup keeps you in tune.

I was attracted to theis guitar by the paint job. I was also curious as to how it would play next to other american guitars I own. The guitar is made in China. As soon as I plugged it in I could tell it was a fine high quality instrument. The dimebucker pickup is a total monster and more than keeps up with my EMG equipped les paul. The licensed trem is good and stays in tune with no issues at all. The V neck is a little strange at first but is very fast once you get used to it. The only niggle is the strap button is right under the A scale on the 15th fret. I used strap locks and it gets in the way a bit when you are soloing in A. To try and overcome this I changed the button to the top of the guitar but the centre of balance is wrong and the guitar wants to nose dive if you dont support it. Apart from that its a great player.

I played this guitar a couple weeks ago at a music store down by beach I was at. It looked very odd and stood out amoung a row of Fenders and Paul Reed Smith guitars and was the only on of its kind their so of course I grabbed it first. And I must say this guitar is a MONSTER I plugged it through a Line 6 HD 150 and pushed on the insane setting and this baby sounded SOOO good. The highs where amazing and pinch harmonics came out so clear and loud. The action is smooth as can be before I knew it I was playing pantera licks just like dime. I abused the wammy till the point where my friends thought I was going to break it but it still stayed in tune. The mix match pickups is what really sold me on it I had this baby so loud the owner came and turned it down. They pretty much inspired me to get the same pickups on every guitar I have. Im not a big fan of the looks but I might see past it an snatch this baby up in a few weeks.

I recently bought this axe, and I must say Im very impressed. I wish it was made here, but I think all in all they did a good job. I did read about the cracking of the clear coat, mine has held up just fine. I play in a band, and I play this guitar every day,gig on weekends. So far no problems at all. I can't believe how well it stays in-tune. Great buy in my book.

I finally got this guitar after three years of waiting. I have to say... This guitar has got it all! This guitar never goes out of tune no matter how much you use your whammy bar! The dimebucker pickup screams, the paint job looks good (even up close) and the action is great. I recommend this guitar to any person!!!
