i got this pedal about two days ago and its about what i expected.its not the best pedal in the world but its a good deal for the price.its got decent echo.you cant sustain notes for long periods of time or have massive amounts of echos but it gets the job done.i would recommend this pedal for anyone with a low budget,who wants a decent echo effect.

Ordered one of these to play around with in my home on the 4 track. Worth every penny and looks really cool. Don’t expect a $100 pedal, I had my expectations set low, just needing something to get me by and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. Blue LED light is extremely bright and just adds to the coolness of this thing. You can’t really ask anymore of pedal at this price.

This pedal is amazing. I was very cautious about Danelectro's pedals because of the fact that they were made of plastic. My friend recently bought the Fab Echo and Fab Flange and they are both AWESOME. The plastic it is made of is very heavy and sturdy. And the sound of the echo is amazing. It sounds very analog. Don't go by other reviews that diss this pedal because "it's made of plastic". Those people have obviously not played this pedal in person. This pedal may be plastic, but it KICKS! I would highly recommend it!

Danelectro Fab Echo...Excellent little pedal for the price. Not the most flexible of effects, but for the simple task of adding a touch of "Tiled Room" type ambience to your tone, I think it's excellent. If your looking for longer delay times & crystal clear repeats..Look else where. But for a fun, ambient little pedal that costs less than a couple packs of strings...you can't beat it. especially at this price. The knobs are a bit tough to decipher, w/no positional notches or markers...So just twiddle until you get the sound you like, dab some whiteout on them to mark it & never worry about it again. LOL

I would like to love this little peddle but I can't. In all fairness to Danelectro, I bought mine used or rather second hand. Don't know how much use it had actually had. On the up side, it does exactly what it's advertised to do. A nice rockabilly slap back echo is what I wanted it for and for a while, it worked great. Then, out of nowhere after about a minute of being powered up it made this awful screeching noise. I suspect a bad cap and would have fixed it but it's all surface mount tech. I guess at the price, you could buy a couple and have a backup but I replaced mine with a Boss DD-7. Your mileage may vary.
