i received one of these as a birthday present and could not be happier. i had been stuck in a world of humbuckers (les pauls and a gibson sonex) and this is the perfect flavor for my setup. great action, lightweight body and excellent pickups. i run this through an orange rockerverb 50 with lots of fuzz. the guitar's pickup still stay clean and have a nice twangy punch. my only complaint is that every now and then the high e string will pop off of the nut. but thats an easy fix for such a quality guitar.

I just bought this guitar today and WOW. It is a fantastic guitar, the pickups sound amazing, better then the strat's I was paying while at the guitar shop. Really the only bad things I can say about the guitar is sometimes the whammy arm is in the way (just move it though, no big deal), and the bridge has to be set up or else it's screwed for life until you get a new one. But if your bridge is set up perfectly like mine was, then this thing is great, the intonation is near perfect, I tried every note in a chromatic tuner and they are all extremely close if not dead on target. This thing is mint, I'm actually really surprised at the pickups of all things, they're great.

Cool looks, but over-priced

GC had a bunch of these, so I tried out two of them. The action was high and stiff, and the sound was dead. A pro set-up would probably help, but I couldn't see spending more than what a Squire Tele goes for on this. Yes, it looks super cool, but I wish its playability matched its style.

This dano as all dano's are simply fun to play and hear. What is interesting about this one is figuring out the many nuances of sounds you can get from the knobs. Just when you got it figured out, a suprise. This guitar positives:light, the variations of sounds. The negative: the wammy. tends to be in the way unless you put it in the back position. Anyway, for the price, they are always worth it.

These guitars caught my eye at GC the other day. They have a nice sound, and play pretty well, except that each one I picked up had a slightly warped neck. The one I was playing curved just slightly clockwise toward the body. Chords start to sound wonky when played further up the neck. I would expect more for the price.
