First off - I dislike electronic tuners, for they never seem to get the instrument into a musical tuning (search 'comma of Pythagoras' and you'll understand what I'm getting at). Second: I have a Peterson strobe tuner, for when it counts (recording). It is programmable to fit several 'musical' guitar tunings. The best.

Then, the other night, I had to tune some guitars in a very noisy room. Someone handed me the Dano tuner, and I was very surprised at how well and effortless it worked.

I've used many many different tuners in my career. They either do the job, or are a pain to work with. Usually, they are fairly expensive and don't live up to the expectations-per-dollar. I found the Dano to work well above my expectations, and now I see the price...

If you have money, get a fancy one. If your budget is tight, or you are reluctant to have an expensive tuner at bars or jam sessions, well, this one certainly works!

I got this for a little nothing when my local store closed and it was a waste of time. Notes don't hold long enough to tune and it lacks in accuracy.

Six words..."You get what you pay for." I've had this pedal for two years, and everytime I use this, it misreads my signal. I usually just end up tuning my low E; then tune by ear from there. If you want a high-end pedal DO NOT BUY THIS ONE-shell out the extra bucks and buy something better.

I had this tuner and was underwhelmed with it's performance. If you have the Dan' case, this is nice cuz' you have it all in one package. It is SLOW to read and does pick up interference. If you must have a pedal tuner, spend a few more $$ and get a Fender. If you want one as good as a TU-2, then you had better drop a Franklin and get a TU-2.

This pedal is everything I need in a pedal tuner and nothing I don't. Turn it on, tune up, turn it off, and play. Make sure you get the AC adaptor for it as it sucks up battieries. As far as alternite tunings you are kind of out of luck but its an inexpensive tuner that does what it is supposed to, I'd buy it again if something happened to it.
