I bought this a while back as a new toy to mess around with, I didn't expect much, but I was fooled. This is a great pedal!

I got this pedal on my birthday and I am amazed at the quality and tone it gives me at such a small price. It delivers the same sound as a pedal twice it's price. Just don't play chords and your fine. As far as endurance I have stomped on it countless times and it has not failed me yet. All I can say is get this pedal now!

Purchased this after hearing my bandmates boss octave pedal. After searching the net and reading a few reviews, chose the chili dog. It performs exactly like I had hoped. Lead runs are punched up with a clarity that bits through the mix. As for those who complain of a muddy tone, duh, don't play chords.

I got this pedal for Christmas last year and experimented with it quite a bit that week to find its usefullness. I didn't find it then and still haven't found it now. It has a lot of feedback and doesn't maintain the octave for more than a second. I have never used it in playing a gig and I don't thing I ever will. If you want an octave pedal spend the extra dough and you will be much more satisfied. I really don't recommend this pedal.

I give this octave pedal high marks. For the money you can't beat it. Danelectro sometimes gets a bad wrap for their plastic case, knobs, etc. But every danelectro I've purchased the tone has been fantastic. I run single coil tele >>boss compressor>>chilidog>>fuzz>>boss eq>>amp and I can get that same thick fat lead tone that prince gets for a fraction of the cost. Prince uses a boss oc-2 but save your money. The chilidog tracks just as good. If you're not happy with this pedal you really need to learn how to use it properly. It's tracking, smoothness, tone, and note definition are outstanding.
