Decent OD Pedal

I recently bought this from a local music store and found it to be quite nice. I own a Line 6 Spider III 30W amp, and I use this pedal with the Clean channel. It gives nice distortion that I can't get from the Insane or Metal channels on my amp. It is plastic, but it feels quite durable, and it would take quite a bit of intense stomping to break it. Get it if you want some nice distortion that you can't get from your amp.

Budget tunnel screamer!

I played one through a simple Randall amp and it sounded quite nice. The construction seems a little flaky (thus the lowered rating) but that's really the only thing that I don't like. It has the token danelectro sound, quite unique, sort of like throwing your guitar through a tunnel. If you had an equaliser that muted out some of the highs, it would no longer be tinny and would be awesome.

I got this pedal five years ago from my dad. I never really used it much until two years ago. When I plugged it in, I knew it had a great sound coming. It has a lot of sound for a small pedal. Great Pedal Buy IT !

i bought this pedal about 4 years ago when i first started playing. ive tried it through a bunch of solid state amps and never really liked it. i just recently got the crate v18 212 that they were getting rid of cheap on MF. got a tubescreamer for it, and broke this pedal out just for shits and giggles. now its a part of my everyday rig. its not to great by itself, a little tinny, but i use the screamer for a light o.d. and then dime the gain on this lil lady and with the screamer in front of it, it gives me the ballsy chunk, i was thinking of getting a distortion pedal, but now im not so sure if i will need to. also works alright for a clean boost. and its plastic, but i have put it through some wear and tear and its still holding up fine. but again, i probably would not run this if i diddnt have the tube screamer to smooth it out, as it is a bit rough around the edges.

The main reason that I bought this pedal was because it was cheap. When I hooked it up by itself it sounded pretty good. You can get a smooth or pretty heavy overdrive. But when I hooked it up with my boss ds-1 it sounded amazing, it really made the sound pop. So overall it is a good pedal if you need some boost in your set up or if your budget is tight.
