I bought the Retro-H for my wife, and what a nice suprise! Out of the box, tuned, and playing in 5 minutes. Nice construction, mini humbuckers produce nicely. Nothing fancy, just straight ahead fun. Ive been playing for 25 years, and the thinner neck is great for speed. Wife picked the color (Ice Blue)and the finish is top notch. For the price, you cannot get a finer starter.

In what seems like record shipping time, this axe appeared with celerity. I had wanted a guitar to perve at and play fairly quicly on a daily basis. I didn't want the hassle of taking it out of a case every time I wanted to practise!

I haven't heard the sound of it (through an amp) yet as my garret is too small to pursue this particular bliss. However, to look at it is a thrill and playing it is a cinch. The action is slightly high, but this okay as I consider it a challenge which I gladly meet!

This bad boy stays in tune thanks to the Grovers. The bottom E string tends not to play as loudly as the others, but this may be negligible once I start recording with it. Overall, a very nicely built guitar and I'm used to the ice-blue sparkle now. The grain on the back of the neck is fabulous! Very sexy.

I've been wanting a semi-hollow for awhile now, and after tons of research, I finally concluded that I had to try-out the Daisy Rock Stardust Retro-H Electric. What a great buy! Yep, I'm a chick, and even though I've been playing piano and bass for 10+ years, I still always felt limited on the guitar due to my small hands. From the moment I started playing this guitar, I felt an immediate improvement to my overall playing style (much better flow). Maybe it's good I spent all those years playing on a much wider neck, but I'm certainly not going to pass-up an opportunity to make it easier for me - especially when this guitar not only looks great, but the sound and tone is seriously good. I'll still keep playing my old acoustic-electric just to keep my hands challenged, but the Retro h is what I'll be recording with from now on. It was nearly perfect right out of the box, a light guitar, but built solid - if you put it under a microscope, I'm sure the finish is not perfect, but from what I could see, it was beyond good enough for the price value. Nothing was loose, all the chrome hardware is definitely fine quality, and although you can easily make adjustments to this guitar to suit your liking, I didn't need to do anything but tune it and play!

A Good Guitar For A Good Price

This was my first electric guitar, and for the price, it's unbeatable. The grover tuners are great. It also has a very thin neck which makes it a bit easier to play. The only problems I had with it were the screws coming out on the pick ups, but that was easily fixed. It also had a buzzing sound to it, but I replaced the 9 gauge strings with 10 gauge and raised the bridge. On top of all of that, the finish is very nice, and I get a lot of compliments on it. Definitely a good guitar for any skill level.

can't believe nobody reviewed this guitar yet.... well let me be the first. This box rocks a neck like butter sweet tone whatttttt? I've been playing forever and have lots of americian wood, strats, sg, guild, and this is the guitar thats always in my hands... maybe because i play open D TUNINGS AND THE SLIM neck is great for baring with my thumb.Nice finish, good pick ups heck even the stock strings sound good. Daisy Rock guitars are made for women and are a bit smaller and have thin necks... great for smaller hands but guys don't get hung up on the girls guitar thing ....as long as you don't get a pink one, after all its just a guitar not a symbol of your manhood. I love it!... even got a daisy rock acoustic/electric and same story a great but little known guitar get one while they last such a steal... should not be overlooked!
