my daughter's dream guitar

This guitar is not going to compete with a Taylor or most other solid/solid top guitars. That said, my daughter loves it. She saved her own money for a guitar and when she was ready to purchase, she chose this. The reason was simply that the smaller body and slim neck felt better to her than the other guitars she tried and considered(big baby Taylor, Breedlove Passport & Seagull slim were a few). Sound quality was not a factor, playability was. The fact that it is blue and has a pickup cemented the choice. Now she is excited to practice and seems to be progressing rapidly.

Fit and finish on the guitar are as expected. Composite round back, laminate top. There are a couple of "blemishes" on the top and binding, but they are noticable only on close inspection. The neck really is much slimmer than a standard guitar. Great for my 9 year old or other small hands. Elctronics are ok, but feedback at moderate volumes.

A note about Musician's Friend. They were wonderful with transaction. They matched another merchant price and had it in my daughter's hands within 3 days. I have been shopping with them for 16 years and will continue to make them my 1st choice when shopping mail order.

Nice acoustic-electric

I have the acoustic-electric bass from this line, and it is a fine playable little bass. Very nice for small hands. And a very pretty instrument. I was not sure what to expect in the way of sound quality, given the plastic back, but it sounds really good. The built-in tuner does not seem to be entirely sane, so I do recommend buying a little hand-held tuner rather than relying on the onboard tuner. Everything else is great. Really fine quality instrument for the price.

great starter guitar

I have very small hands and a petite frame, so I was instantly drawn to this guitar. While the plastic backing isn't as pretty as other wooden acoustics, it provides a weightless guitar body that is very playable. The guitar stays in tune very well, but I'd suggest buying a spare tuner as a back up. Another cosmetic con is that the finish scratches easily so be cautious when strumming with a pick. Overall, nice sound and quality.

I looked and looked from Florida to Tennesse for this guitar and finally, I found her. I love playing and it's a huge step from my nylon string, the only problem I have is after awhile the B string gets twangy. Other than that I love. People come up to me a lot, I love your guitar's color! She's a show stopper for sure and I love the on-board tuner. Sounds great to, easy to play totally recommend.

When I was looking at getting a daisy rock guitar I immediatley was attracted to this one because of the five star ratings. When I got the guitar home I was very pleased. This guitar sounds great and stays in tune very well.
