I bought two of these amps about a year ago . I was immediatly impressed to say the least ! I have had many , many amps over the years from cheap practice amps with 8" speakers (junk), Fender Deluxe Reverb to Half stack tube amps . With that said , for the buck , I don't think you can beat the tone quality , carry ability ,& all round usability of this amp . It could use a few more features like a footswitch , Effects loop , ect. The tone is very clean on the clean channel & As dirty as you want it when you push that button ! It's not my Halfstack tube amp but , it doesn't weigh 150 LBS. either !!!! Just 15 LBS. so ,.... It makes for a great carry to the gig & use as a stage monitor amp & line out to the PA head for the House without Breaking your back ! I'm old , & that's important now ! In short , you too will be suprised even amazed with the sweet tone you get out of this inexpensive (cheap) amp with a 12 inch speaker ! If you don't beleive me , order it & compair it to any other practice amp with the 8" or 10" speakers , this thing will blow 'em away !!

This is a superb value, but you wouldn't know it from reading some of the other reviews. Apparently some folks bought this expecting it to be a half-stack. The same folks who don't know the difference between overdrive and distortion. I've been playing for 40+ years. Trust me. This amp is incredible.

I bought one of these a couple months ago and I must say it is a nice little practice amp. The spring reverb is what caught my eye on this amp. It sounds better than any digital delay/reverb I've heard.

The best feature is the external speaker jack. The internal speaker in this amp is below average and is probably what a few of the other reviewers are complaining about. I have only one thing to say to them. If you don't like the sound of the internal speaker, use the external jack and plug another speaker cab into it-that what the external jack is there for !!! I had a spare 12" Eminence speaker laying around and put it in this amp. Now it sounds REAL good.

Just remember one basic fact. This is a small 15 watt PRACTICE amp. It is basically meant to be used in a room to PRACTICE on. If your going to go out and jam with a full band, you need a bigger amp - that is just common sense.

To the guy who said this amp isn't very good so he is going to upgrade to a Marshall stack, if you want the sound of a Marshal stack, why did you buy this amp?

I would buy another one of these amps in a heart beat if it got stolen. It is light weight, sounds more than good enough to practice on, is easy to carry around, and the price can't be beat.

An okay starter amp, but I would have got an Orange Crush if I knew about them. Overall its pretty decent, and I like the reverb. Also the fact that you're getting a 12" speaker in an amp in this price range is nice.

I got this amp to go with my gibson faded sg specal and its relly not the best. The clean chanel is relly muddy and unclear. Althow the overdrive not the best but you can get some good tone out of the distortion as long as you keep the eq adjusted good but over all I would recomend something other than this.
