I got this head to play in a band with a couple of friends. My other guitarists has it and i played through his a lot before i made my decision, I needed something quick and money saving. It sounds amazing. The overdrive is absolutely beautiful. And for all the reviews saying you can't get the flanger noise to go away, you have to know how to work it, if the settings are set right, it will sound perfect. Just play around with it. I would definately recommend this.

For the price, it will be very hard to beat. It takes a little time to figure out how to manage the effects and it's not very flexible but I bought an amp, not a pedal. Sound dynamics and volume are excellent. I'm driving 4X12 Marshall and it's a killer.

The effects come in and out as does volume, flanger is constantly on, I bought this and giged with it, absolutley horrid expirience with the sound, and I just wanted the clean chanell through a boss me50 and still the flanger kept creeping in the volume cut in and out, am very dissapointed, don't get this cr*p get a randal or ibanez in this pricerange. what a bad expirience.

I got this head the other day and was very disappointed when I found it had the same problem as I have read about in many reviews, the effects come in and out when none of them are turned on. The high gain channel was pretty much busted, but I blame that on a bad input. The gain sounds great, but with the effects that won't go away, this head was pretty much useless. Returned it the very next day. I suggest hold out and save for a better head, or go with a Line 6 or Randall if you really need something fast like I did and all you can afford is a lower end solid state head.

I'd really enjoy the tones and the clarity that I get from this head if it weren't for this permanent flange it seems to have, on every channel. I'm not sure what's causing this, but it may be because I'm running it through a lower-end Marshall cab...? But if I ignore the weird flange sound, the cleans sound great, the overdrive channel has a really warm crunch, and the high gain channel is just drone central. I love it. The effects aren't very effective, however.
