First off, i do love this little amp, i play with a Fender FM412 cab and it gets a great tone, and if you play with a digitech metal master pedal, it give an excellent metal tone. however, due to the gain channel, it causes HUGE feedback issues, and you have to turn the gain down to at least 12 o clock to make sure you don't get the muddy double-distorted sound. and even then, if you turn the level up to past 12 o clock, it feeds back like a mother. a noise supressor helps greatly, but you still get the point. i reccomend buying it, but be prepared for a few noise issues

I bought a PowerBlock about 2 months ago, as a back-up to a Fender RocPro1000... After plugging it in, (running my guitar through a Boss GT6) It's now my PRIMARY head. Small, lightweight, LOUD, and built like a tank! I've used it for small gigs (100+ people) and some larger gigs, at least large in my opinion (1500-2000 people). It has served me well in all situations, never overheating, with 2-4 hour sets. It faithfully reproduces my pedal tones. Without the processor, I can dial in a nice clean,or a gritty dirty OD sound. It's definitely not high gain enough for a death metal player, but would do the trick for some AC/DCish stuff. That's right, I replaced a Fender 100 watt head, with a tube overdrive channel with this thing! As for those who have problems with it cutting off, I'd wager most cases are due to trying to plug it into cabs with too little resistance, or trying to use the stereo channels into a single stereo cab, which the manual tells you not to do. Plain and simply, you get WAY more than you pay for with this little beast. If I can get it for 100 bones like I did last time, I'll be buying two or three more!

I bought this as a backup for my 100 lb.+ Mesa Boogie Rack to use with a Line 6 POD XT Live. I run the POD XT Live into the front with VERY LITTLE gain in order to use it as a power amp. I run this right into my Mesa Boogie 4 x 12 and it really sounds awesome! Definitely a great backup plan or something that is easier to get on an airplane! Plenty of power too! Not bad considering that the XT Live AND the Powerblock together cost me 1/10 of my Mesa rack. It doesn't sound quite as good, but then again - it better not!

Crate says this is designed for use with multiFX boxes, and that's how I use it. Pick the amp model, dial in the effects, set gain and EQ, and you're on. Very powerful. If you read the manual and push or release the mode button. It's cheap, powerful, reliable, switchable electricity for Europe... great.
