I've played since I was 7 years old and owned every major brand of acoustic and electric. For the money, this is one of the finest guitars I've ever owned. However, I play classical as well as blues/rock and so I am used to a wider stance near the nut. This guitar has a very comfortable, but wider neck and the string separation near the saddle feels wider than a Taylor or Larrivee. I love that, but some people might not.

Tone is excellent, a little like a D-28 Martin and almost as loud. A ction and finish is exellent too. The ONLY thing I wish they had done differently is a better pick up system. It has the LR BAggs Element and if it instead had the LR Baggs iMix, I would be a lot happier. The Element is just a bit too shrill and does not really transmit the "woody" sound the guitar has.

Other than the pick up, this is really a GREAT guitar for the price point, but one should definitely play it before you buy it. If you're used to a 1 11/16 in neck, the nut width may be too much for you. It has the same stated wdth as a Taylor and Larrivvee (L or OM) of 1.75, but this Breedlove feels a little bit wider than 1.75 and the string stance is definitely a hint wider than a Larrivee or Taylor.

i've had this guitar for about a month now and it just keeps growing on me. the only thing is that i wish it had designed inlays for the pro series rather than dots. the sound on this guitar is incredible! just the right amount of bass, and the tone is unique. prob the best guitar for the price. my only wish would be to make string crisper. i think prob cuz the cedar top it takes up that crispiness a little bit. the finish is amazing and the guitar is just beautiful. the customer service is great too! sent this guitar in to get a couple things fixed and they did everything and even buffed the guitar so it was pretty much new! anyway great value, great sound.

I love this guitar. The sound is rich and full, and the body is really beautiful. I, too, am not happy with the tuning bag inside, but I as someone who plays worship music, this guitar has become the all round favorite, after my 77' Takamine.

The guitar's tone is very articulate and resonant. The highs are crisp, but not blaring--they blend very well. The action is a little high out of the box, but the electronics are spectacular as well as the finish on the guitar. A problem I encountered after about two weeks was that one of the tuning machines just stopped working (this is why a 4.0 on features). This isn't too serious because I called Breedlove and they sent me a new one free. The guitar has exceptional tone. Out of all the Taylors that I played in the store (all of them), this guitar sounded sweeter, was more resonant, and played just as well. Great value. Great tone. Great guitar.

This guitar is simply astonishing, especially for the money. I play a lot of gigs in a variety of styles and this guitar can do it all. I own a couple of older Gibsons, a Washburn and a Takamine, and had been eyeing up some Taylors when I needed a really high-performance gigging axe. I work at a guitar store and tried ten Taylors including the ones costing as much as five grand and I am not overstating the case when I say this plays and sounds as good, if not better, than any of them. The Electronics are quite good considering the current technology.
