Low Low Low! and Behold!

There are three things about this guitar that I love... 1. The LOW action! This guitar is very easy to play, but at first had a bit of a string buzz. Went away after a while though. 2. The LOW bass-like tones that I like (I am also a bassist so the warm bassy tone was a plus for me :) 3. Finally, the LOW PRICE!! For under $1000 Can you complain?? Shame on you if you do!

..hence the title of my review!! Low Low Low!!

But the quality of this guitar is anything but low. The workmanship is amazing and the guitar looks beautiful. The sound is surprisingly well-balanced and rich. I was kind of iffy at first because this guitar was not american-made but boy was I proven wrong. I was completely oblivious to the fact that Korean-made guitars can be so amazing!

Most people won't believe that I had the privilege of buying this baby for $620 FLAT new and sealed!! (w/ the beautiful deluxe hardshell case)

This guitar is also too PERFECT considering what you pay for. I would've happily paid double the amount I paid if I didn't already know the MSRP value.

The guitar is almost perfect... if you consider the price. Dont pass it up, you will regret it forever! From what I understand it is already been discontinued, so grab yours quickly!!

Dazzling!

I bought this guitar to replace an old acoustic. I was in the market for a high end Seagull, and not to diss their gutiars here, the price of this on sale was just too hard to pass. Beautiful inlays, georgeous tone, flawless craftsmanship, and great case. In my opinion, this guitar sounded better than ANY of the guitars in it's price range and even better than some more expensive. Made in Korea but I've bought several guitars made there and they are excellently built. I'm all for American made but sometimes I really think that is so overrated and overpriced. If you want a great acoustic that won't put you in the wife's poo list, at least look at this one. You won't be disappointed!

Tremendous value

This guitar really is in a class far above the current price - an absolute steal for what you get. Compares extremely favorably in projection, features, and looks with Martin & Taylor guitars twice the price. Fit and finish on mine is excellent. Torn between the bassy Martin or the brighter Taylor tones? to my ear - the Breedloves do a great job of bridging the gap between the two brands. This model packs suprisingly loud and clear sound for such a small body. The concert bodystyle doesn't have a pickguard, and if you play alot with fairly aggressive strumming, you might damage the finish. This can be easily remedied with a $10 clear/removeable pickguard made by Taylor available on this site. Case is great too. Can't wait until I have the means to purchase one of Breedlove's higher end guitars, but this baby will no doubt have a place in the collection for years and years.

The craftsmanship and attention to detail is obvious the minute you SEE the quality case this guitar comes in. Then when you take the guitar out of it's spectacular case you are in awe. Don't know what to say, I was in the market for a Taylor, and played this guitar and a $2000 Taylor and I was torn. Only because I had my mind set on a Taylor...but when the price on this baby dropped it was a no-brainer. And it plays and sounds every bit as good as the Taylor...I actually prefer the tone of this guitar to the Taylor. Fretwork is immaculate. The only downsides (and to be honest this is nitpicking) are the gold tuners. I hate gold hardware because it pits so quickly...when it does, I'll probably replace them with nickel or silver ones. The other downside is that the Fishman pickup system that comes with it is their lower end model...and it's certainly more than adequate...just surprised that on this quality of guitar it wasn't upgraded. But obviously, you can do that yourself if you feel the need. But please, don't focus on the negatives...those are the ONLY things I can come up with to say bad about this guitar. In the last year I took a chance on this guitar and an ESP Eclipse II, and they were both tremendous gambles...two of the best axes in my arsenal. Pull the trigger at this price.
