I'm sure I'm not going to say anything new here, but this guitar is amazing. I challenge anyone to find a better guitar for the price (or any price, really). All solid wood, dovetail neck, grover tuners, electronics, cutaway, fully bound, abalone rosette, etc., etc., etc., (I could go on and on). I've been playing for 19 years and my main guitar is a martin OOOC-16GTE. I bought this looking for a "beater" for live shows at bars and parties where people get a little crazy. This guitar plays great, sounds great and looks great. One word of caution; play a few. I played two. One sounded just like a Taylor (more highs, less lows) and the other, which is the one I bought, sounded more like a Martin (boomier lows). depending on your tastes, you'll want to actually play one in person. I can't believe that this is all it costs. You will be impressed, even if you've played for decades. Well done, Breedlove.

One of the other reviewers said of the Breedlove AC25/SM, "You gotta love a guitar that makes you sound like you're better than you really are." I agree 100%. After many hours of playing, I kept thinking that the acoustics of this guitar are like a piano. But I was hesitant to tell anyone because I figured they would think I was nuts. Then I read the owner's manual. On page 8, after describing the Breedlove bracing & JLD Bridge Truss system, it says, "This gives our guitars the distinctive and highly dynamic 'Breedlove Sound', with a piano-like bass and a remarkably well-balanced tone..." Hey, I was right! It's got a great acoustic sound! (Maybe I should write the owner's manuals for Breedlove.) The mahogany back and sides are so beautiful. The spruce top is classic. The rosewood cap on the headstock is stunning. The mahogany neck begs to be stroked. The workmanship (fit, finish, etc.) is flawless. I've read some reviews that suggest the Fishman Classic electronics are sub-par. I suspect these reviewers are using the wrong amp. I plugged mine into a Roland Cube 30... it sounds great! The gig bag is the best I've ever seen... very well padded... no need to buy a hardshell case. In a nutshell, the Breedlove AC25/SM is a great looking and great sounding guitar at a great price.

I can't believe this guitar. Plugged in, it is extremely responsive making it great to play. Not plugged in, it lacks a certain boldness that I get from my Martin D-28. So, for recording with a Mic, this ain't it. But the wonderful playability and the live electric sound are simply stunning. This is a guitar with real character. I'm thrilled with this purchase.

I have owned this guitar for 3 yrs now and it keeps getting better tone and more character with age. That's all you really need to know if you're anyone who knows anything about acoustic guitars. At first it seemed a little stiff - still really nice, though. It's breaking-in beautifully. I play out with it often and it really catches the eyes of other players. They always want to try it out and if I let them play it I usually have to pry it out of their hands to get it back. Now I just tell people to get their own. You will not be unhappy with this guitar
The bells and whistles like naked lady inlays and the back and sides being maple or bubinga don't mean that much to me in a guitar(I don't think they matter all that much if you're going to plug it into an amp or PA anyway. And it's not going to make it sound or play $300-500 better). I'm gonna play it, not hang it on the wall. So this ends up being a great guitar for that.

I bought this guitar about a month ago to be my back up guitar at gigs. It is turning out to be a very nice guitar with quality sound across the board. For the price this is a super guitar.
