This Atlas Series Jumbo delivers all the projection and sound you'd expect from a large-bodied guitar combined with the incredible playability and design features that put Breedlove on the map. The bold and resonant AJ250/SF Plus comes with a solid Sitka spruce top, specially sculpted bracing, and the JLD Bridge Truss system. Ivoroid body and neck binding, rosewood headstock overlay, and abalone accents make it a knock-out package. Fishman Classic 4 electronics let you plug in anywhere and sound great.

Each spectacular instrument in the Atlas Series is designed and engineered to attain these same qualities at an accessible price. They feature scalloped bracing, a pinless bridge, dual-action truss rod, and the JLD Bridge Truss System. The bridge, fingerboard, and peghead overlay on each model is made from Indian rosewood and tops are crafted from solid wood. They have an ebony end pin, dovetail neck joint, and a slightly narrower nut (1-11/16"). All models have the same low string action for fast, comfortable playing. They're all set up and hand-inspected at Breedlove headquarters and come strung with light-gauge D'Addario EXP strings.

Overall I've been very happy with my Breedlove Atlas Jumbo. It does have a little fret buzz on the first couple strings, but it's very slight and I saw that from the beginning in the store and got a great deal because of it. Aside from that this guitar has bee fantastic! I love the tone, feel, and looks of this guitar. The jumbo size gives plenty of full-bodied sound to balance the brightness- and the overall sound complements my voice perfectly. The built in tuner is handy- pretty accurate, but not perfect. I've had this guitar for a couple years now, and even though I figured I'd have it re-set-up to eliminate the slight buzz, I haven't bothered yet! Yes, perhaps I've been lazy about it, :) but I've been playing loads of gigs and countless hours of jamming, noodling, and writing and I guess it's just really, really minor. I HAVE heard stories of some of these having fret issues, and that may be related to the buzz, but I can't say it's been a big deal for me- and I'm pretty picky. If you can, check one out , or hell- just order one here and if it's not perfect send it back. All in all- I'm very happy and I recommend it highly. One other thing- I almost went with the dreadnought or even the concert size in this series- and at some point I still might get one. But even though (I think) they had solid rosewood sides and back, I actually liked the tone of the jumbo a little better overall.

I have had this guitar for about a year now, and wow! This guitar has met every expectation and some. When I first heard about Breedlove guitars, I was thinking, Breed'who? But Breedlove really knows how to make great guitars at great prices. I have played on different Martins and Taylors and my Breedlove meets or exceeds the sound they put out. It is well worth every penny!

Bought a Blem, What Blem?

Took a chance and ordered a blem version of this guitar, its perfect. This is the most perfect guitar I own ( my collection include a Hp special, a gibson 335 solid body and a takamine, more. No fret buzz anywhere, great harmonics, fine craftmanship, super intelligent design, perfect intonation and a built in tuner thats not advertised.
