I have owned this pedal for almost 2 years now, and have not had any problems. This pedal is built like a tank. This is also one of the most affordable loop pedals. The sound quality is great, perfectly replaying your tone as when recorded. It is sometimes difficult to begin a loop when recording so that it loops smoothly, but it just takes practice. If you have never played with a looper before, you have NO idea what fun you're missing! P.S. try recording a bass guitar and drum machine when creating backing tracks and you can emulate a full band, leaving you free to play leads and/or sing!

I've owned the Boss Loop Station for about 8 hours. It is the coolest thing. There's a ton of things it can do and it only has 3 knobs and a couple buttons, so naturally operating it is a pretty complex process. At first it's scary because of the complexity, but play around with it for an hour and you'll get it easy enough. The drum tracks it has are really handy for giving yourself a guideline or just coming up with stuff off the top of your head when you hear one you like. You can change the tempo of the beats and the time signature (only 3/4 and 4/4 but what else do you need?). When sticking this in a line with other pedals, always make it the last one. If you don't, I think you'll soon discover what happens to your tracks if you don't. If you're like me and prefer the distortion on your amp rather than that of a Metal Muff pedal, you might be a little bummed when your drum tracks get distorted and start to sound really dumb. A distortion pedal of your preference will save this from happening as long as it's placed before the Loop Station in your setup. Also, when I recorded a rhythm track, the palm mutes just disappeared when I played the lead part over it. I could only hear the chords accompanying the palm mutes. I haven't found a fix to that yet, but I'm sure there is one. I haven't been looking very long. Overall, you get a ton for what you pay for and that ton has excellent quality. So if you're looking for a looper pedal, get this one.

This pedal will keep you satisfied!!! It is has many complex features, yet simple to use. Works great live, for jamming, or anything else! It's really fun to use with pedals like the Boss octave because you can emulate a bass and basically have a full band to jam with! This pedal also has different drum tracks. Totally a 5.0!!!

I play with a full band, so my review comes from that. I like this pedal ALOT. It allows you to do some really crazy layered sounds, and its pretty easy to use. If you can count to four, you'll have it down within the hour. I rate it a "3" for features however, because I wish you could sync it to a time-clock, so you could make loops that don't fall out of sync to a click. But I started just making non-rhythmic loops, like fluttery chords just to fill up the note spectrum a little more, and its quiet awesome for that. Definitely a center piece on my board.

This pedal is the single most important pedal you can buy as a guitar player. Forget distortion, forget delay, just get this thing now. You will never have so much fun playing over riffs that you record and there is no other pedal that will further your guitar playing than a looper. You will not regret it, totally worth it!
