The problem is I have two Boss BCB-60 pedal boards with various effects, including the ME-70 multi-effects, and I hate to turn all of the pedals on and off. Now with the LS-2, I can leave everything one and switch between the "A" and "B" boards with one tap on one pedal.

Boss always delivers such great products in my opinion, and this is just another example. I put my two noisiest pedals, digitech whammy and a boss phase shifter through the two seperate effects loops. I boosted the phaser -db level to add presence and cut the -db level on the whammy because of how that thing screams when coupled with a distortion. It is really convenient for me and cleaned up my signal chain nicely. The daisy chain was a great added feature. It's really cutting down on my 9v battery expenditures. Its powering four other pedals and working great!

It would be easy to pass this pedal by. After all, it's not an "effects" device. It doesn't alter your instrument's signal in any way, however, it can be one of the handiest gizmos in your setup. Need to switch between two amps or two guitars on the fly? No problem! How about being able to switch between two preset volume levels? Would you like to be able to switch between solo and rhythm effects. This'll do that too! Personally, I bought the Line Selector to completely bypass certain effects which may produce some amounts of unwanted noise. (My wah pedal produces a small amount of hiss) I can add the wah only when it's needed. Now that I think about it, the Line Selector CAN alter your tone. (It can act as a two channel mixer to give you some interesting blends from your existing pedals.) I am very pleased with, and would recommend this pedal. Thanks, BOSS!

A pedal with no equivalent out there.

I needed a pedal that would let me switch back and forth between my Rockman Sustainor based preamp & effects, and my Zoom guitar processor pedal. An A/B box wouldn't work because I'd need two of them that worked in sync. (1) to switch the guitar back and forth between the two processor inputs so I didn't end up with an impedance drain on either preamp. and (2) one to switch the input of my guitar power amp between the two processors. Ya know, I looked high and low, nobody out there makes anything that fits the bill, Boss is the one and only.

Mini Floor Mixer

This pedal is amazing and works exactly like I wanted it too. When I first looked at this pedal all I wanted was an A-B switch so I could disconnect the guitar from the mixer when I put the guitar down between songs. When I found this pedal and read all it could do I thought this would be a much better option than a simple switch. I use this pedal as a "mini mixer" and on-off switch for two guitars that are played at the same time. I have it setup in the following configuration: Guitars -> LS-2 -> TU-2 -> Mixer. By putting the tuner after the LS-2 we can easily tune either guitar even between songs. In our situation we don't have anyone monitoring the sound board so being able to locally adjust the level of each guitar is fantastic. We have three guitar players in our group and we are considering getting a second LS-2 and daisy chain it to the first to plug in the third guitar. We certainly could have handled our setup differently, but, for our situation, this pedal solved all of our problems in one easy to use device.
