The Boss GT-8 Guitar Effects Processor features a revolutionary dynamic sensitivity switching mode that switches between two effects. You can play in one amp model/effects patch when picking lightly and automatically switch into another configuration when you pick hard. The unit offers quite a few options and I was able to get a good dirty sound running directly into the P.A. without having to lug around an amp. However after 1 year and 3 months pedal number 1 stopped working. I use a line 6 foot pedal to help fatten up the clean channel. It does not have a usb out and I'm concerned about how long I will be without the unit once the battery goes out, but for the price not a bad pedal.

Hey

I have wanted one of these pedals for absoloutly ages! When I finally got my hands on my own I was shocked at the great effects it contains!

It works great with my Ibanez K7 and I have even put my Harley Benton bass into it a few times (risky move I know) and the sounds it has came out with are amazing!

If you have the time to spend programing the different amp models and fine tuning effects then this is certainly a recommended pedal for you.

It has some amazing sounds including Sitars, Synths and a sequencer! This is certainly a good pedal if you want to create masterpieces

You will likely have fun creating strange sounds with this pedal

I bought the GT 8 when it first came out. What a monster it is, solid and built to last. I don`t know how I ever got along with out it. I bought The SKB PS-45 Professional Pedalboard to put my GT 8 in it and it still looks Brand New. The GT 8 is easy to operate, the sky is the limit, all the pedal you will ever need!

I got this a few years ago and have had a great time using it, but now I have to say goodbye. I've learned that I want to just stick with the basics of my tone and only have a few key effects in my chain. I'd only get this if you like to have ALOT of effects on all at once. There is alot you can do with this pedalboard, however, if you only want you main drive, some delay, and some chorus or something else, then just get the regular pedals.

I used this about 2 years. I can play this perfectly, But i never get the right sound. Its difficult to have a natural sound, all the effects sounds so digital. But its ok.
