This is a great product all the way around! I have heard some saying that the overdrive & distortion sounds from the GT-10 are not good. But this is so untrue!! Here is why. Remember that great tone is like a chain...one weak link and its gone. If you don't have a pro quaility guitar, cable, & amp, then don't expect pro quaility sound. I have several boutique amps that have great overdrive & distortion sounds on there own, and I can though the GT-10 in line and the sounds are just as good!! Don't even get me started on everything else it can do!!! So Go Get One And Find Out For Yourself!!!

I grew up on BOSS so this for me was the best thing in the world! Believe me I've tried the faulty line 6 digitech digital stuff and the broken record player at grandmas had more moxy! Nothing I tell you, NOTHING can compare to the total tone quality and control that you can grasp with the BOSS GT-10!
I contemplated on upgrading the me-50, and went thrrough about 3 product exchanges until I finally decided to bite the bullet and get what I should have in the first place! Overall I want you to understand this could possibly be the most important investment in your musical career whether you are a studio musician or a road worthy warlord!

I love it! the tones are great,I play thru a 4203 marshall head and a crate cab.it realy does kick some ass.but I lost my manual and never did read it so Iam alittle lost as to all that it can do.It is very complex,I use it in my little studio for recording.as for playing gigs plan on just using a few patches you dont want to be on stage trying to dial alot of different sounds.Its very well made and realy is a great unit I give it five stars.

I don't really even know where to begin. I have owned several multi effect boards in the past 20 years, and have always been a little disappointed in the overall packages. Some have great sound, but are pieces of plastic junk. Some have great mechanics, but lack in tonal power. Some just stink all together. Not so with the GT-10
BOSS got this one right...period! Come on guys for the price of 3 - 4 quality stomp boxes I have the world at my fingertips. Out of the box ... this board is amazingly useful. After reading the users guide (twice) I feel like guilty ... like I stole something. It is quite a value for this box.
Quality ... the box is substantial ... metal, and feels like it can take a bit of passion. I didn't get that warm-fuzzy out of the Line 6 offering ... and was less than impressed with the physical floor space of the TC Electronics offering (both in same price point)
Sounds. I haven't been able to get through them all yet ... but you know how a lot of boxes have an incredible number of sounds that you think ... what the heck am I going to do with that sound?? I have found two so far ... and even they ... with a little tweaking could be useable. What do you want?? The EZ Tone feature is about the coolest thing I have seen on a board in years. Pick a style ... pick a guitar ... pick a cab model ... use the parameter knobs to dial in the sound you like. Takes all of about 15 seconds to dial in a sound, and then add effects at the touch of a switch ... How easy can you make it?
I play both a Les Paul Standard and a Fender Strat. You can set up multiple guitars ... and it alows me to tell it what pickup I am using ... Humbucker or Single Coil. Really!!!Uh .... BRILLIANT!!! REALLY makes a huge difference in tonal output, and both of my guitars are singing like never before. Great Feature.
Effects. Yep ... it has them all. Nothing stupid here ... no cut corners either. Quality sounds ... and my 9 year old can dial up great tone.
Complexity. YES. It is a beast. If you are a moron ... and can not sit down long enough to read the manual .. .you will still have a great pedal, but will NEVER really appreciate all that it can really do for you.
Read the manual ... don't be afraid to try some things ... and most of all ... enjoy this product.

You guys need to read your manual, this thing is smokin. The metal distortion sounds are awesome for playing Zombie tunes. It is a little difficult to navigate at first, but if you read the manual and take the time to understand it, you will be very happy with it!
