Fender amps of the '50s and '60s are beloved and coveted by guitarists around the world. Thanks to BOSS' technology and tone know-how, the new FBM-1 pedal brings the natural, fat, rich, bright tone of the Fender Bassman to a BOSS pedal. In conjunction with Fender, the BOSS FBM-1 re-creates the legendary tone of the 1959 Fender Bassman. Features include the same controls on the original Bassman amp: Presence, Treble, Mid, and Bass EQ controls. The FBM-1 pedal also functions perfectly as a "pre-gain pedal" placed before an already overdriven amp to add the tone character of the Bassman.

Boss FBM-1 Fender Bassman Pedal Features:

  • Re-creates the legendary tone of the 1959 Fender Bassman amp
  • Additional BRIGHT IN provides a brighter sound, similar to the original Bassman
  • Presence, Treble, Mid, and Bass EQ controls
  • Road-tough BOSS metal construction
  • Perfect pre-gain pedal for adding or retaining Fender tone color

That amazing tone at a price you can afford! Order today.

It has the grind of a real bassman.I play a prs guitar and use this pedal as a boost along with a fulltone overdrive 2 for different lead tones in the front of a dirty Carvin Legacy combo amp,Pure tone!I use my guitar to control clean and distorted transitions off my amp and this pedal works great with my set up.Never liked digital pedals until I played this one.A must for tone freaks.Well done Boss!

I run this through a 1979 Carvin bass rig and get a very nice tube-like tone with my Fender J-bass. I have had great luck getting anything from light coloring to full-blown tone saturation with this little guy. Allows my rig to really cut through at a fraction of what I'll end up paying for that '59 Reissue Bassman. It also sounds great with my Martin 6-string, giving it just enough edge to really punch through - but watch the gain!

Old-school tone in a tiny package

Great little pedal! I fill in for our bassist a lot at church (when I'm not playing rhythm guitar and/or mando) and run this little guy into a DI box and then into a PA. It has deep, full lows and bright mids and highs. Add more gain and presence and it generates awesome distortion! I also use it in place of a tube preamp on my practice rig with the same results. Even 10" practice amps sound fuller and bigger than they really are with this pedal.

BEST BUY EVER!!!

This pedal is a mainstay. I never turn it off. I mostly use it as a pre-gain before a vintage DOD supra distortion. I play through a Marshall MG HDFX100 which is a solid-state head... and it sounds... acceptable. This pedal makes my amp sound beyond anything I could have hoped for or thought possible. It fattens up the tone and puts it right on "the edge." If it was ever stolen I would buy another one ASAP. I can't play without out it!
