I've had the DD-20 for the past 2 years. I've NEVER had any issues with this pedal. It has phenomenal sounding Tape, Analog, Modulation and Digital delays. You can get the classic "Edge" delay sounds.

I love the fact that you can tweak the modulation rate, tone etc... I use an external tap tempo pedal with this pedal and run the delay through my Mesa/Boogie Lonestar FX loop. Great sounds, TONS of possibilities... So far very reliable (knock on wood! ;-))

This delay just seems to make everything sound better! The first to responses I got while using it was, wow. that sounds better than Hendrix (while using reverse delay) and wow, you sound like a professional. And it's really not that complicated. Even without reading the manual I was able to plug and play.

Get this delay, it is the best, don't waste your time and money on anything else. 23 secs, 11 modes, 4 user memory slots, tone, even a two head slectable tape delay mode!)I tried at least 4 other delays looking for the right one to go on my high end board. This is LINE LEVEL for loops, some are not! Pro or beginner this is the unit.

The minute I played with the DD-20 my search for a delay was over. I was able to teach myself how to use most of it in a matter of seconds. This thing blows the Line 6 DL4 out of the water! The DL4 is not a very user friendly delay. It is very hard to use, even with the manual! The DD-20 is not only easier to use it also has a longer delay time, a tone knob and much more definitive delay and modulation than the DL4. If you want to customize your delay down to your most exacting specs which is what I expect in a delay than this is the way to go. I find the slap back feature and the modulation feature on the DD-20 to have much more character than the DL4. I couldn’t even find the modulation on the DL4. I have noticed this pedal on a lot more boards lately, Christian bands like Jars of Clay, Sanctus Real, Remedy Drive, and David Crowder Band all rely on the DD-20. This is an awesome pedal I have never felt more comfortable about a guitar pedal in my whole life. All I have to now is get one! In my book the DD-20 is the ultimate way to go when it comes to delay. My band has opened up for several successful Christian bands, and every guitarist from those bands owns the DD-20. I am very pleased with the Giga Delay's relatively simple layout and ease of operation. I play a 1976 Gibson Les Paul through a Marshall Valvestate chorus amp, and the DD-20 adds a lot of personality to my performance. Being the only electric guitar player in the band puts a lot of pressure on me to create full-bodied riffs, and the Giga Delay increases the ease of doing so exponentially. It's also very easy to switch delay types/tempos between songs.... in short, this is a must-have.
