I have had my BCD60 for almost 2 years now. I have had it filled with pedals and everythig very well organized. My problem with the board is as many other reviewers have written. If you at all bumped the plastic tags holding the case together they break off. These tabs are made very cheaply and now I can't even keep my pedal board closed. It is also having problems with internal wiring causing cutout problems. Overall I really like the jack connection outlits and power supply train, but Boss needs to take the same pedal board with the latest in wiring connections and build it into an ATA case. I am ditching my busted up BCD60 for a PedalTrain.

Solid Board

I've used the Boss BCB-60 for a little over a year now, and this is a great product. I have five pedals in this board, a Boss OS-2, Boss FZ-5, ISP Decimator, Boss EQ, and I can even fit my Digitech Whammy into this thing!

This board has never let me down. Easy to just pop open, power up, plug in and go, and the casing is very sturdy, although it's a little scratched and roughed up. Two big problems with this board is it's locks -- I wish the locks were a more intelligent design then sliding over the two seperate parts of the board to keep in place. They could easily become undone in a rough car trip with it clanging around in the back -- usually i put this board inbetween my amp and my guitar for car rides so it won't hit into something and pop open.

One more problem with this board is the handle -- it's not rounded, it's more of a square shape. My friend has a BCB-6 (old boss pedalboard) which is rounded and much more comfortable to hold for any period of time. After about 5 mins of walking with this board your hand will hurt.

Other then that, the power supply powers four of my five pedals perfectly (The Digitech needs it's own power supply, which I can put right in the case along with the other power supply.), and I've never had the slightest trouble with it.

For Buckethead style avant-garde effect players, this board will not suit your tastes; even with just boss pedals, you can only fit 6 pedals. Go for a bigger board. If you've only got your eyes on a few pedals, this is the board for you.

I had one of these boards for awhile. I decied to ditch it and go with a BEHINGER PB1000 Universal board. It can hold up to 12 pedal (Digitech around 9), but Behringer and BOSS 12. Has built in power supply. Boss makes amazing pedals, but this isn't one of their best!

Clean look, weak power.

I haven't seen a pedal board that is so organized as this one. I was looking for a board that wouldn't look so messy with a bunch of cables and power cords running everywhere. I have found one in the BCB-60. You just line up all your pedals, plug in your cables and power cords, and hide them away in the covered compartment. I will say though that I lose a substantial amount of power to my pedals, my Boss TU-2 tuner being the worst. This board failed on me several times when I needed it the most, during my showcase at SXSW music conference in Austin. I will however purchase a pedal power unit to see if that helps. If not, I will be selling this one and looking for something else. My board consists of a Boss TU-2 tuner, a Boss GEB-7 Bass Equalizer, a Boss ODB-3 Bass OverDrive, a Sansamp Bass Driver DI, and a low end volume pedal. I have recently taken the overdrive pedal out and gained a little more power. I have also tried different power daisy chains. The black clips did break off as well but I just bought two small pad locks and that did the trick. That wasn't really a big issue for me since I tour quite a bit and need my pedals locked up anyway.

Ditched the pads

I ditched the pads, put velcro strips on the bottom and I have a Ernie ball volume pedal, a Vox Bulldog, Boss Chorus Ensemble, Boss Auto Wah, Boss Flanger and a TC Electronics Delay. It closes just fine. I taped down the power cords so they aren't tangled or leaning on metal and no noise. Just have the amp switch on the outside. I'm going stereo into two Vox AC15s and gig regularly. I'd replace it if there was a problem or if I needed to add effects but I don't right now. This works just fine and you can fill it up if you ditch the pads. They're dust catchers anyway.
