People Just Don't Know

I was reading a few reviews on this pedal and those that say this pedal isn't worth the price or they couldn't get a real acoustic sound out of it, either don't know what they're doing or got a bad pedal... I've owned two of these pedals and when this one gives out, I'm getting another one. Mind you that it doesn't give you the sound of a $2,000 or more Martin or Gibson, but gives you a very good acoustic sound if played with the right guitar and amp... I get the best sound out of my Epi 335 and a Marshall stack... If you're a gigging musician then it's a Very nice pedal if you just have maybe two or three acoustic songs and just don't want to worry about switching guitars during the set or spending the extra cash for an acoustic to switch to... The only complaint that I have is that it should have a few more features.

This thing has an awesome concept.... I really like the tone and it also makes the little plunk sound like a pick on an acoustic, if you play a lot you'll know what I'm talking about I'm not sure what's up with the ac-3 but this one is awesome (haven't tried ac-3 yet) but I will.

I think you should try it, this pedal its incredible, I have used it with a stupid fender stratocaster and man I was impressed with how that pedal cleans that crappy guitar. I am going to buy it, so you should buy it to.

I love Boss pedals!

I am a fan of Boss but this one did not cut it. I just got the pedal with high expectations. But being that I've grown extremely accustomed to Fishman pickups and Taylor's Expression system, I realize I had unrealistic hopes. There is no shortcut to having an acoustic and electric on stage for any gig; none.

A Church Band Leader's Perspective

I was not planning on buying this pedal. I was messing around at a local shop on my lunch break one day and ended up trying it out just for fun. I had extremely low expectations because obviously no pedal can make your electric guitar sound exactly like an acoustic guitar. Wow, was I surprised and impressed! I decided I had to buy it. To be fair, it definitely does not make your electric sound exactly like an acoustic, but it is close enough for me. I suggest you try it out before you buy it and see if you think it sounds close enough to meet your needs. I run my church's praise band so I have to transport all my big heavy guitar gear to church once or twice a week. Now I can just take the electric guitar and leave the acoustic guitar at home. Having to carry one less thing makes my life easier. For my purposes and convenience, I think this pedal is awesome!
