Natural Natural, Back Case, Open

Crafted with a select solid spruce top, hand-carved X-bracing, choice solid rosewood back and sides, and a traditional dovetail neck joint for pure Golden Era tone. Lavish Style 45-inspired abalone pearl inlays adorn the soundboard on all borders. The intricate pearl and abalone inlay work on the headstock, fingerboard, and delicate marquetry center strip on the back are touches of fine art. Aged-tone finish completes the vintage look. The slim mahogany neck and comfortable 000-sized body make it a truly enjoyable guitar to play.

The Historic Series offers authentic vintage style with strict adherence to the spirit of prewar instruments from the materials used to the ornate inlay work.

If you've been searching for a Golden Era guitar that isn't priced like it's made of gold, then Blueridge guitars are for you. Reminiscent of fine American guitars built prior to WWII, Blueridge guitars are made with the same techniques as their antique counterparts, including many by-hand processes.

Like the best instruments, Blueridge guitars aren't overbuilt; they're crafted to be light and resonant. Meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is evident in the traditional, forward-position, hand-carved parabolic X-bracing which allows the solid Spruce top to ring loud and true. Blueridge guitars feature a traditional dovetail neck joint, slim mahogany neck, adjustable truss rod, and butterbean-button, Kluson-style tuning machines with an updated mechanism for modern precision and feel.

okay guitar but way too much for a pac-rim guitar

These are okay guitars if you find one used at a reasonable price. No way are they worth the price tag for a pac-rim guitar. They sound similar to a Martin I suppose that's what they were going after. You want a Martin? Buy a Martin. I wish they would come out with the upgraded ebony fretboard, but without all the abalone bling. It looks flashy, but it's just overdone. Save your money and look for it used, or try out a larrivee or used Martin in this price range. Nothing depreciates faster than these pac-rim guitars. Expect to lose half of the new price when you walk out the door...

I was told about this guitar by a friend (BR-183) and how amazing it not only sounds but feels and the craftmanship. Yeah Yeah I heard about this before with other guitars and everyone claims they found the best, but wait a minute, I got my chance to play one at an open mic night, and I can't believe that this guitar has been kept a secret this long, it is an amazing well built, toneful soulful, work of art that gets it done and just in a few words, the best acoustic guitar I own and I have many top end guitars Gibson Martin. I purchased my Blueridge 183 and find myself always reaching for it, it will always be with me. Get your self one and you won't be dissapointed: test one out and you will seee what the rest of us know! Thanks Blueridge Thanks !

What a wonderful acoustic guitar! You'd never know that this fine instrument was made in China. If you're in the market for an excellent finger picking guitar, look no further than the Blueridge BR-183!

Amazing fingerstlye guitar

I am a finger style player and this guitar has the perfect string spacing for finger style. The rosewood gives a great bass response and the guitar is very sensitive to what you do. With a slight strum you can get a beautiful warm tone or you can harsh it up a little by picking hard. Over all it's an great guitar for alternate tunings and finger style. I recommend it for anyone needing a low priced guitar of this quality
