The Blueridge BR-180 Historic Series Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar is crafted with a select solid spruce top, hand-carved X-bracing, ebony bridge, ebony fingerboard, choice solid rosewood back and sides, and a traditional dovetail neck joint for pure Golden Era tone. Full D-45 style pearl and abalone ornamentation adorns the body, neck, and headstock, with an intricate abalone and pearl inlay on the headstock and a delicate wood marquetry back center strip. Aged finish completes the vintage Blueridge look. The slim mahogany neck and traditional dreadnought body make the BR-180 a truly enjoyable guitar to play.

The Historic Series offers authentic vintage style with strict adherence to the spirit of prewar guitars from the materials used to the ornate inlay work.

If you've been searching for a Golden Era guitar that isn't priced like it's made of gold, then Blueridge guitars are for you. Reminiscent of fine American guitars built prior to WWII, Blueridge guitars are made with the same techniques as their antique counterparts, including many by-hand processes.

Like the best instruments, Blueridge guitars aren't overbuilt; they're crafted to be light and resonant. Meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship is evident in the traditional, forward-position, hand-carved parabolic X-bracing which allows the solid Spruce top to ring loud and true. Blueridge guitars feature a traditional dovetail neck joint, slim mahogany neck, adjustable truss rod, and butterbean-button, Kluson-style tuning machines with an updated mechanism for modern precision and feel.

I just purchased a pretty beat up used Blueridge BR-180. It had several scratches on the face and was clearly well broken in. My son was looking for an acoustic to take to college and he played Martins, Taylors, Gibsons, Larivees, Takamines all weekend long and was as happy with this guitar as any he played

Praise the BR 180

I have owned a BR 180 for three years. I previously owned a Martin D-28 and a J-50 Deluxe Gibson. The BR 180 exceeds both in sound. The neck is easier to chord making playing it a real joy. The appearance, sound, quality, and play ability of the BR 180 exceeds all expectations. I play with other guitars on Saturday nights and while they are tuning constantly the BR 180 stays in tune even with new strings. Blueridge BR 180 is unbeatable.

Best Damn Guitar

I have owned a BR-180CE f the last year and a half. When I first bought it I had a Martin D-41 Special, so I pulled it out and started playing both just to compare sound and feel. I just really couldn't tell the difference, by that I mean if I had another Martin in the room and was blind folded and handed each one of these guitars to play I doubt that I could tell you which one was the Blueridge and which was the Martin. For its price I have to give this guitar the best damn guitar anywhere.

Slo Bob's BR-180

I've had my BR-180 for 3 years. It has better sound quality than any guitar in the world! Every time I play it I'm still amazed! The sustain, fullness and range are the best I've heard!! When I travel with it, it has to be re-tuned due to the change in climate. I'd put this guitar up against any!! Even 10K Martins!!
