Beautiful tone and so easy to play. I cannot belive Blueridge can make such a high quality guitar and sell for their prices. This guitar is pure quality and tone. The neck and fret work is absolutely perfect. Intonation is spot on and no buzz or fret out anywhere, even with nice low action. Guitar is very light and resonates forever. If you are looking for that nice "middy" Clapton tone, this is the guitar. This guitar, in terms of quality is every bit as good as a 000 28EC. There is not a flaw on this piece of art. I really don't know how they do it. The BR 163 is very tasetfully done with herringbone trim and has that high end vintage guitar feel. The 000 body is so much more comfortable than a dreadnaught. You don't want to put the guitar down. I love mine and with it I would not part.

In looking for a new guitar I found a gem in the BR 163. It had come down to Blueridge and a much more expensive brand. What it boils down to is that I think the Br 163 is a match for any guitar that I have ever played, and I have played all of the high end acoustics and owned a few too. For what it is worth, this is one of the finest sounding, and playing guitars I have had the distinct pleasure of holding. For the price, out of this world value.

I absolutely love this guitar, and I scored when I found it online with electronics installed and a case for 575! Seriously, amazing guitar that sounds exactly like an EC martin. It's a beautiful guitar that makes you wanna play and write songs all day. Truely my favorite guitar of all that I own.

Picked up one of these used a while back, with a Fishman pickup included, and I have been ecstatic ever since. I have owned and played Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, Washburn and others, and this BY FAR is my favorite stick to play. Easy action, great looks (particularly the inlays on the headstock), and sounds great plugged or unplugged. Many of the active gigging musicians I know that play acoustic blues, acoustic rock, etc. play this exact guitar. It is a can't miss.
