As with others here, mine one day just up and died with no warning. It wasn't a unit i could use live or even in full-band practice situations; the sound was just too shrill when it was cranked up loud. However, it had a good spectrum of "moods" and sounds that i found very conducive to songwriting. i might buy another, but i would NOT stomp on it ever again!

I have had this for just under a month now and it has done well so far. The Features I gave 4 because the acoustic doesn't sound like acoustic, it's clean, but not acoustic. The Pitch Bend is pretty limited also but the rest makes up for that. Another small complaint is that I had to remove the padding on the back because it wouldn't stay back all the way, but that was an easy enough fix. The best thing on this are the distortions(not to mention the price) they are the BOMB! I really don't like the Screamer or Rat but I'm told the real tube screamer isn't much better. Overall, a great pedal for anybody who doesn't want to shell out cash for a more expensive one!

The Behringer X V-Amp was fun to play with for a little while. It is pretty sturdy pedal as well. I slammed it on the floor (carpeted) several times trying to distroy it when it stopped working after a couple months of seldom use. I did end up with a lot of LEDS to use for electronic projects after removing all of them from the circuit board before tossing it in the trash.
I did add an on/off switch to this pedal. I was surprised it didnt have one to start with. Not hard to add one but turned out to be a waste of time anyway.
There are only a couple decent effects out of the several hundreds of preprogrammed effects. You will end up tweaking the prebuilts to the point where you only have a few you use and none of the prebuilts. Do yourself a favor and get a pedal with a lot fewer effects to filter through. If you have a decent amp with overdrive, a few amps and modes, get a multi-effect pedal with the effects you want most and avoid these hundreds of useless effects type pedals.

Up until a few years ago, I was strictly Peavy.
Then I bought a "blemed" Behringer amp (at MF of course), and have used it daily.
Just thought I'd try out the X VA amp FX, and I LOVE IT!
It makes the Les Paul squeal, and the 12 string sing!
My wife thought it was someone else in the 'Scuse MeRoom!
Thanks Uli, if you start making guitars, I'll try one of them too!

I hear people say that this thing makes a good amp sound like crap. I have a 700 watt amp and it doesn't affect the way the amp plays. The one and only complaint I have isn't really that big. I just wish that the Whammy effect was more adjustable, and it worked the same as a normal Whammy pedal. Other than that, simply amazing!
