I got this amp 1.5 years ago , gets played on every other day. this amp has 99 fucking preset effects on it. 12 reverb,10 delay,14 chorus, 7 flange and etc settings on it.even better is that it has OD channel that you can adjust the speaker sound, type, and gain type. 27+ different Overdrive tones to tweak to. good for jazz, blues, classic rock, thrash metal,nu metal;get any sound you want without buying tons of pedals or amps.i almost feel stupid for buying distortion pedals but i only have a boss heavy metal, digitech death metal, and boss OD/DS for purpose of extra pre amps and that the boss pedal are asymmetrical distortion and the digi is a gain 11.....thats personal reasons to buy pedals but other wise owning this amp will provent you from buying cases, batteries, and etc for pedals.
behringer is an all in one amp.for a good price.

As with nearly all Behringer products this is a copy of another amp. This is almost the exactly the same as a TECH 21 trademark 10. I have own the Tech and have played throught the Behringer and it's basically the same except the Behringer has FX's and more ins and outs. This amp rocks but I don't know how Behringer gets away with there almost exact replicas.

Not the greatest, but worth it.

This amp does have a few setbacks; like the very "nasal" sound it gives with its amp and gain settings. The bank of effects is immense, but I would like to see some sort of control mechanism for it (i.e. a foot pedal for controlling wah depth and time). Sounds much better when used as a substitute head for a multi-cab setup, as most of the effects are stereo. Pretty decent control scheme, but EQ is a little small and not as tweakable as I would like. This amp does have a few things going for it, though. The bank of effects that I mentioned before is varied, and can supply you with an arsenal of different tones for different types of music. Speaker modeling is pretty realistic to the actual types it is meant to emulate. All in all, a fun, whimsical practice amp; nothing more.

Another reviewer complained that this amp was not road-worthy and that it had plastic jacks. Well, my advice would have to be...learn how to put a jack in straight. This amp is what it is. It wasn't meant to be a Twin Reverb or some other tough - as - nails amp. If you want a Harley Davidson Road King and you buy a Honda 250, then you should not complain later when the bike doesn't perform well on a long road trip. See the similarities? Personally, I like the amp. I use a Blues Jr. and a Hot Rod Deluxe to gig. The GMX110 is all it was meant to be, a fun practice amp.

I can't recommend this amp for anything but bedroom use. One simple reason: the jacks are made of cheap plastic. My son likes to plug things in, and my amp is no exception. While I'd like to have kept him away from it, he stuck the guitar cable in at an angle and snapped the jack. I've spent a lot of time re-soldering (and re-engineering) the jack because of this. I could have probably fixed it under warranty, but if the amp can't hold up to the something that frankly doesn't meet the abuse I've seen a good amp take on the road, I'd rather work on it myself. Quality of workmanship aside, this is a great value for a beginner or someone who just wnats to put it in the corner and play in their own home. It's not going to be reliable as a working man's (or woman's!) amp. It is perfect for someone who wants 99 preset effects that are fun. My take: spend a bit more, get a bit less in terms of bells and whistles, but get a quality basic amp and work your way up to good effects processors.
