The amp is loud if you know how to tweek the effects. With on board distortion I only had it up to maybe 4 or 5 which is not bad. And thats without feed back. It was purty damn loud. My effects loop dosnt work worth a damn though. And the volume knob on channel one broke off but, I just super glued it back. The eq sucks so you need to get a rack eq or a pedal. Once again on mine the effects loop sucks but maybe im doing somthing wrong. I like all the inputs and outputs on the back. makes it easy to run it thru ur pc and record. I love this little amp regardless of the negatives I've listed. It's bargain priced for someone who aint got the funds. It does the job if you take the time to learn how to use it.

I practice on this amp frequently. And I have to say its a pretty nice amp. But I have 2 issues with it. The second channel no longer gives me the sound I want to hear come out of an amp. Its nothing but this terrible, terrible , terrible, ringing noise. The first channel now is what i have to rely on .. and well .. the clean channel for some oddly unexplainable reason doesn't hold true to its volume settings sometimes. I can have it turned all the way up and it'll act as if its below 3. I don't get it. But hey all in all. for a good year or so it did an amazing job. I probably just got one defected one.

I've owned this for over a year now. It's a good amp for the money. It has way to many effects to find a decent one. You really have to experiment with the settings to find one you like. I found mine after about 9 months of messing with it. The clean channel takes alot of tweaking to get it to sound loud enough. But if you use stomp boxes for your sound dont buy this because the effects that are built in will give alot of feedback when you turn your stompbox on. But for the money, if you don't own stompbox's, and you only have $200, this is a great deal.

I have never had to have the volume up past 3 and that fills all the venues easily. The distortion is great, so much so that I dont use any of my pedals and processors anymore for distortion. I just let this head give me the crunchy, tight, punchy metal sounds, or any sound for that matter. You will not regret this amp. Once you get it, spend a few hours messing with all the settings so you know how it works and how to get the sounds you want. Otherwise you complain about something this thing can easily pull off.

I patched this through my Berhinger Ultra Twin with 2X12 Eminence Texas Heat speakers. This thing is loud and sounds great! Certain settings do create feedback and the clean volumn has to be turned down somewhat to prevent the overdrive light warning which really doesn't hurt the Eminence speakers. I replaced the original Jensons in the UltraTwin when I ignored the overdrive warning and fried them.
So far I like this head and thinking of getting a Marshall stack cab for even better sound.
