This is a really great amp because, well, where do I begin? It's got like everything you could ever need: volume, great tone from its many amp models, every output you could possibly hope for, a nice little tuner, I could go on and on and on. You won't need to use any of your stomp boxes 'cuz the amp's effects are more than enough. You should be warned, though, that you may get lost in all of the presetting and what not. If ya don't think that you can handle all its fuctions and settings, then this amp is not for you. I'd recommend this amp to an intermediate player on a budget. (P.S.- If you don't read the manual, you'll get lost.

I have had this amp for 8 months now. At first, I was not very happy, but after READING the manual and playing around with the settings, hooking up a 1X12 cab for the right chanel things have changed. I really like this amp, I have a variaty of guitars I play on it from a 40's Gibson ES-125 to an Epi Goth Explorer with EMG 60/81 set. I think I will like it even more with a 4X12 stero cab and Behringer's midi foot controler with the two expression pedels (FC110? or what ever), the foot controler I think will give better access to presets and alow better control. Loud? set her on the Rectified High Gain or Rectified Head, Savage Beast or Brit High Gain, it can get very loud (others are too, that is MY faves for loud). The efects are pretty good, I find I don't use my stomp boxes with it, no need. I also like to hook it to my PC and record using Audacity on the line in of my sound card, this amp lays down nice sounds, in fact, that is where you get the most convencing modeling. I hear some say things about the controls, they should be fine if you just try to take care or it. For the money, I can't see how you could go wrong, MIDI, TONS or hook ups, amp/cab modeling, effects, low price, just buy it.

This amplifier has many effects, amp models, and cabinet simulations that are very useful and actually sound decent. Chances are with the broad range of sounds this amp is capable of... you can find the sound your looking for. It is built pretty well, as long as you don't drop it on a daily basis it should last you.. now....here's the bad part...the phone rings louder than this amp can kick, really, its the weakest amp I've heard as far as sheer volume goes, and the speaker is terrible.. the speaker is truly bad, the stock speaker has no power handling whatsoever and when turned past 5 it just rattles and makes noise, I use this ''amp'' with my esp-ltd viper 500 with the famous 81/85 set,and the model and effects sound good enough, this thing just has no volume or power,..therefore, I have only found it useful for low volume practice at home. for recording? fine. Try to use it at a gig or with your band without a p.a and you will be embarrassed.... I own a behringer bg412s cab, and its a great cab, if behringer fixed the power supply and speaker problems, this would be a great amp... till then, keep saving for a crate blue voodoo.

I've had this combo for a little over a year now and love it. People hate on Behringer because their products are cheap but they are far from bad! I use it as a combo for practice and use this as a Head and play through a Behringer 4X12 Straight Cab and the sound is incredible as long as you set it up right. I run stereo out on L2 mode and I get plenty of volume....I played an outdoor show with no mic-ing necessary! I love it and you will to. The knobs are a bit flimsy i will admit, none of mine have broke but I am like super careful with my gear. It's awesome, buy it!!!

This is a pretty sick amp, especially if you want something loud without paying a ton. The tone's allright, but changes alot, I wish it was a stereo but whatever.
