I own two of these which I use in various configurations depending on the gig and if I'm solo or joined by a friend. Sometimes I use two mics dynamic and condenser depending what kind of sound I'm going for. For the guy complaining about feedback I suggest you tweak the eq like I do set at about 3 with the gain on your mic and guitar channel set accordingly. You obviously need separate eq on your guitar which most acoustic/electrics have to tweak the best sound. I get amazing output and quality of tone out of these litle amps this way. You're not gonna play a stadium or loud, rowdy bar but for the typical coffehouse, music fest kind of gig they work great. I typically use a Yamaha acoustic/electric plugged straight in with an occasional effects pedal like chorus and even a touch of tube OD and the sound is truly amazing. I use a dynamic mic for vocals and when I have a friend join me I use 1 or 2 condenser mics in the second amp. He plays banjo and sometimes rhythm guitar through this setup. I love these things. I'm really impressed by the way they reproduce the bass response of a good acoustic guitar but still stay well balanced in tone.

It sounds good and gets loud enough for small gigs. My Fender sounds wonderful through this...play blues in a coffee house, and occassionally outside of the house for street parties, and it projects my sound perfectly...for a pro? probably not..but tweek the eq. and you can get the sound you are looking for, thanks behringer for making products that sound good for the cash strapped family man....wife approves, and still able to afford diapers....hahahhaa

You get what you pay for with this amp. I was looking for an acoustic amp at a local music store, and they didn't have a good selection so I got this. I don't really get a lot of sound out of it until I'm at 7 or 8. The Low's, Mid's, and High's add a lot to the guitar's sound, but when you have a mic plugged in too, you get a lot of feedback. But I'd keep it for the coffeehouse type shows if you're gigging with it. Otherwise its a good amp if you don't have the extra cash in these times.

All I have to say is you get what you pay for. If you can spend the money and get something you will be happy with. Distorted even on 3 any lower you do not need an amp. Hey if you need a P.A. the mic output sounds ok .

This amp is an amazing amp for things from siting at home practicing or something like an open mic night at a local restaurant. I highly recommend this amp to anyone who loves music.
