The boosta grande isn't a fancy pedal by any means. It does one thing... boosts your signal. Do you want to be able to get louder with a stomp of your foot? Would you like to fatten up your sound? Then buy this pedal, because that is exactly what you'll get. I haven't tried any other boost type pedals, but this one does it's job well.

I've had this pedal for over a year now and absolutely love it. Anytime I need a little more boost in my solos, I just turn this baby on.

I run it in my effects loop and I can get anything from a subtle volume boost to full on ear bleeding solo envy. I love the slight mid-range bump this provides to fatten my solos.

My only complaints are: 1) Takes up a lot of space, but at the same time, it's easy to see on my pedal board and hit the button. 2) I wish the volume control was a detented pot or rotary switch. Over the course of a gig the knob has a tendancy to move, either raising or lowering my volume. I've been tempted to tape it in place, but I still need to make adjustments from venue to venue.

Overall, a great indispensable pedal!

great clean boost. this pedal brings your leads to the top of the mix without compromising your tone. if you have a choice, buy this (even though im not really jazzed up about the new design art).. nothing more, nothing less.. just a great clean boost for your solos. buy it. you wont be disappointed

I normally plug my acoustic straight into the board, but I needed a convenient volume boost to do solos or whatever. The Boosta Grande is perfect! It's totally clean. I couldn't be happier with it.

I'm going to get another one for my electric rig, because my single-coil Strat isn't as loud as my humbucker PRS. I want them to be equal. And again, I need things to be as convenient as possible (like, I don't want to be adjusting my amp's volume everytime I switch guitars). The Boosta Grande will fix that problem!

Boosta Grande Vs MXR

I ordered this pedal and a MXR micro amp. I use an A/B box to switch between and electric and an acoustic guitar. I needed to boost the volume on my acoustic to match the electric. After using both pedals I found that the Boosta Grande makes the tone "FATTER" while the MXR is almost transparent until about 3 oclock. BUY THE MXR.
