SICK GUITAR

I play in 2 bands with this guitar, and I am thoroughly pleased with this beast of an instrument! The Floyd Rose is killer. It never goes out of tune. The neck is great, not too thick but not too thin either. One thing though is that I intend to replace the stock pickups with an emg 81/85 set. For one of my bands i tune down to Ab (4 steps down) and with the 13-62 strings I use, it delivers pure brutal punishment. I strongly encourage any death metal guitarist to buy this instrument!

I bought the B.C. Rich NT Jr. V at a local music store after years of searching for the perfict feeling guitar. The neck is not bulky and not too thin, it seems to have the perfict fit in my hands. It's also perfictly balanced. The stock pickups are great. They sound very thick coming through my Line 6 stack. Of course with the Floyd Rose it never goes out of tune. The look of the guitar is downwright evil. I can't belive that I found a guitar that sounds and feels as good as it looks. I loved the guitar so much that I bought a 2nd one that I use for drop-d tuning and thicker gage strings for beefier rythems for recording.

I've had it for about a year, and now that I'm starting to get over the amatuer views of guitars, it isn't as awesome as when I first got it. It's a neck-thru, which is probably the best thing about it. It feels pretty solid. The tone is decent at best from the stock pickups, I plan to switch those eventually. The tremolo messes up your tuning if you use it a lot. If you don't use a trem too often, it stays in tune pretty nicely. The input jack seems pretty cheap, it started loosening up pretty bad on me, not a difficult repair, but annoying to do every 4 days. The neck is pretty fast, considering that it's kind of thick. But that's my opinion, I prefer playing on thicker necks. Overall, it isn't a horrible guitar, but I would only recommend buying it if you're a serious bc rich fan.

I play a lot of metal, mainly Helloween sounding stuff and also some thrash metal. Previously I owned an ESP M200 but I sold it, for it's neck didn't feel right, the pickups were bad, and the "Floyd Rose" was absolutely atrocious. Plus It didn't look martial and aggressive.

This guitar has everything I want and then some. I was looking at an Ibanez V Blade, a Gibson Flying V, or a ESP V, but this guitar pleased me in every way.

The neck is fast and fits right in my hands, but there is plenty to hold onto. The ebony fingerboard just lets me glide to every single fret on it, and the widow headstock makes it look downright evil. The guitar isn't that heavy either, and even feels properly balanced. All the other Vs I mentioned didn't feel right when I played them sitting down. Now I know why Kerry King uses BC Rich Vs, they are really well balanced. Only a Jackson King V comes as close to being as balanced as this guitar, but it's almost four times as expensive!

The Floyd, unlike my ESP, is the real deal. This is a real Floyd Rose, just like BC Rich said. And it works great. Changing strings is no problem, but I suggest that if this is your first guitar with a double locking tremolo you read up on how to change the strings and how to tune them.

Only flaws on this guitar are the strings, I replaced them with better ones, and the pickups. The BDSMs aren't the loudest pickups ever, but they are full of tone. I replaced them with a Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge and a Dimarzio PAF Pro and I love it. Now it rocks.

It doesn't get much more metal then a BC Rich, so buy this guitar today and you won't regret a single thing.
