Neck-Through Construction
Neck-Through construction is used on the Kerry King Signature Wartribe because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars. This construction starts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple. That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows deeper cutaways, providing comfort no bolt-on or set-neck could offer.

EMG-81
The EMG-81 bridge pickup is a high output pickup designed especially for the lead guitarist. The 81 is at its best for high volume overdrive and amps with a master volume. Whether you're playing power rock and roll, or overdriving your amp, there's a razor sharp attack, and incredible sustain for brilliant soloing. Beveled Top

If you want to play Slayer, or any other metal this is the guitar for you, the preamp is awesome, and the active pickups sound amazing. The neck is a masterpiece, I have never felt anything so nice. Harmonics are a easy to pull-off as well. Kahler is nice, but for some reason the high e always drops a little out of tune.

I recently purchased both the KKW and KKV and I was susprised how amazing they played and sounded. The bridge did leave a little to be desired , but changing it to the kahler 2315 improved it. The pickups and boost produce an amazing distortion and very smooth clean and amazing sustain. The neck is extremely fast and very easy to axcess the 24th fret on both. One of the best signature models out.

I've played many guitars in my life, including custom ones that cost thousands of dollars, but have never played a neck so comfortable and smooth as the one on the Wartribe. I can lower the action like crazy and have very minor fret buzz. The EMGs sound extremely powerful, the finish is flawless, and the Kahler tremolo is great. Just two minor issues to keep in mind: The locking nut on my Wartribe was loose because both screws that attach it to the neck were spinning. The entire locking nut was bouncing back and forth when I used the tremolo, killing the tuning stability. BC Rich’s warranty should cover that. Also, the Kahler fine tuners need to be lubricated with 3-in-1 oil because they were spinning by themselves when I played a high bend or did a high tremolo pull-up. They were kinda stuck and any pressure coming from the strings would suddenly break them loose and they’d spin by themselves. 3-in-1 oil immediately fixed the problem.

This is a high-quality guitar in terms of sound, comfort and playability. However, the Kahler tremolo has poor tuning stability. I had to tweak the fine tuners every five minutes, whereas with the Floyd Rose system, I play for days without touching the fine tuners. The Kahler unit on this guitar, however, has a screw that allows the tremolo to be blocked, making it a fixed bridge. If you don't care about tremolos, I'd recommend the B.C. Rich Bich with a fixed bridge, which is an amazing guitar. Otherwise, you'll be better off with an LTD/ESP or a Schecter guitar with the Floyd Rose system, both available here.
