I've had one of these for a few years, and would just like to say that I love it to death. It works great for the more traditional bodies (e.g., Strats and Les Pauls), and still manages to work pretty nicely for large or oddly-shaped guitars.

I have a couple of Jacksons -- a Kelly and a reverse-headstock RRV (no, not stock) -- that just barely fit. The zipper track is a little snug around the point on the Kelly's headstock, and I have to flip the RRV over in order to even get it completely in the bag. I'm not sure what that implies for an RRV with a normal headstock -- it looks like it should still fit. I also have used it with several LP and Strat copies, which, of course, fit very comfortably.

Beyond that, the padding seems quite thick, and I've taken this bag halfway around the world with me, and it has managed to help an instrument survive my GTA-esque driving tactics while it was in the back of a moving van.

These B.C. Rich gig bags are a decent alternatives for hardcases. I own one and have had it for a long, long time. If you have no need for a hardcase or if you just can afford one, this bag is a must for most B.C. Rich guitars. If you take care of it, it will last forever.
