this is hands down one of the best guitars i have ever owned and played. i play guitar around 5 hours a day and this is the best guitar for the style of music. play this through a crate blue voodoo and a boss equalizer or crate 120 (the blue one) as the head with a laney cab and you will be blow away. i am ever time i plug in. guitar for serious musicians

This is still the best guitar I've ever played! It's just so versital, beautiful, great sounding, I'm running it through my Randall RX120 half stack and use a Boss Metal Zone and this things screams. The neck is beefy and very comfortable! Your fingers just fly on this guitar and it's just amazing. I get a good amount of feedback because of the actives but it's ok I mean it's not that bad. The tone is killer and I just love this guitar. Bc rich is all I use.

I play Black Metal, and i've never liked BC Rich guitars, cuz i've only seen the bad ones. I saw this, and ordered immediately. i've owned several high end guitars like the ESP M-II, Jackson KV2, Ibanez Universe and Jems, and PRS and Gibsons. Out of all those i must say that this guitar is one of my favorites i've ever owned. It's on par with the KV2, it has excellent features and the shape is killer as well. The OFR and the binding, and MOP binding / inlays are phenomenal. I'm also quite pleased with the neck size. I'm a fan of thin necks so i really like this guitar. no neck dive is a plus too. The only thing i could change is the EMG's. I think some passive Bare Knuckle Pickups would sound alot better. Nato is a good tonewood, too good to just slap some sterile EMG's in. But, thats always changeable. So, in all, thanks so much bc rich

The B.C. Rich Deluxe Jr. V is the greatest guitar I've ever played. Between Jacksons, Gibsons, ESPs, and Ibanez this guitar blows the others out of the water. The EMG's are incredible on this bad boy. Not to mention the original Floyd Rose comes very handy. I'll abuse that whammy bar and the guitar stays in tune. Just put some 0.011's strings and tune to B Standard you'll get a real heavy death metal tone. The Trim looks great on the guitar. It is a very Great looking guitar. I love it to DEATH!!!!! Highly recommeded for Death metal. Thrash. And even Black METAL!!!! You will not be Disappointed. TRUST ME!

After plugging it into my b-52 tri rectifier half stack I am a solid believer in bc rich. The guitar sounds amazing for metal. I usually tune down to c# but the emg's sound so nice that I can settle with d and soundss just as good. I've had bad experiences with floyd roses in the past, but the original floyd on this was so easy to set up and plays like they truly should. Overall, this has to be the best v in this price range, and could easily go for higher. Now if only they made a 7 string model.....
