B.C. Rich took great care in designing the Chuck Schuldiner Tribute-a Stealth guitar that can proudly represent Chuck's legacy and the indelible mark he left on the death metal genre. Chuck played several B.C. Rich guitar models throughout his short but meaningful career. The most recognized of them had to be his black single pickup, neck-through Stealth guitar. In purposeful style, Chuck laid down many creative and ferocious riffs on his B.C. Rich guitars that launched him into metal icon status. Now it's your turn to play tribute to a legend. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this tribute guitar goes directly to the family of Chuck Schuldiner.
Neck-Through Construction
B.C. Rich is known as one of the pioneers in neck through construction. They use it on many of their guitars, because it provides the best possible sustain, resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars. This construction starts with a long piece (or pieces) of premium North American maple. That piece runs from the tip of the headstock to the strap button on the opposite end of the guitar. This means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows more of the body and neck to be cut away at the neck joint, which provides comfort no bolt-on or set-neck could offer. You will find the neck through feature on all top of the line B.C. Rich models.
DiMarzio X2N
The X2N is a "take-no-prisoners, in-your-face" humbucker. Twin, wide-bar pole pieces give the X2N a nasty, dangerous look-and rightly so. Our highest gain pickup was created to push tube amps into total overdrive. Put one in the bridge position for a powerful jolt to the voltage the amp sees from your guitar. The result is a sound that can only be described as blistering. The magnetic field of the X2N is very powerful and focused. It captures the character of whichever guitar it's in. If your guitar is warm sounding, the X2N will act like a sledgehammer. A bright-sounding guitar will go into total scream mode. And the X2N still has versatility: single-coil and series-parallel modes are particularly effective, because the X2N pickup's power gives these sounds more authority than is possible with weaker humbuckers. Recommended For: Bridge position on solid body guitars. Tech Talk: The X2N works in any situation where maximum power and overdrive is required. The dual blade polepieces create a very even, balanced sound. The X2N works best in combination with higher-output pickups. It can also combine well with the Fast Track 1, Chopper and Pro Track. The split option is very effective, because a single X2N coil has similar performance parameters to many Strat-type pickups.
Beveled Top
Most of B.C. Rich body styles employ a beveled edge around the shape. In many ways bevels on a top are similar to facets on a cut stone. They catch the light and reflect at different angles giving the instrument more of a three dimensional look.

I bought this guitar about three months ago, and I couldn't be happier. The black finish is absolutely amazing, and the guitar is just beautiful. Pretty light, and all the frets are easily accessible due to the way it's built. Pretty thin neck, the DiMarzio pick up in it, is amazing, I couldn't believe how much power I got out of it; and the tone was amazing also. I'd recommend this guitar to anybody into Heavy Metal/Death Metal, whatever. This is it. Maybe a tad pricy, but it's totally worth it in my opinion.

I recieved my stealth yesterday, The first thing I noticed was how small the body is. It's a bit smaller than I expected, which was perfect. It's very light, However it does have a bit of neck dive... But a good strap will fix that.
The neck is a bit chunky, After a few hours of playing on it I got use to it though. I'm use to playing on an 85 NJ Warlock with a thin neck.
The X2N is my new favorite pickup, This has way more output than the single emg-81 in my Warlock. Pinch harmonics scream and chugging is low and uber brutal.
All in all it's a very nice guitar. Worth $1,000? problaby not, Maybe more around $800. The quality is great though. There were a few little dots where they missed the black paint over the sealer coat (end of the fretboard where it meets the body) and the on top of the fretboard near the body are a few scuff marks from where they polished it. But it's only noticable if your inches away from the guitar.
If it were lost or stolen, I'd buy another... I'd problaby look for one a bit cheaper though.

I like one pickup guitars. I like Kramer Barettas and BC Rich Gunslingers. Back in the day I had a handmade stealth two pickups though and some switches (BC Rich partial active electronics)I sold a while ago. But I saw this guitar I had to have it I like Death but it's not the style I play wich is what suprised this axe dose not just play death metal it plays hard rock, thrash, and british metal too. The neck is very nice wich have probably heard. This guitar is great and from the front looks the same as the handcrafted model so it is very high quality. BC Rich makes the best guitarsin my opinion even the imports so if this Rich impresses you try the calibre warlock, exotic classic mockingbird, perfet 10 bich, mockingbird st, asm pro, and the kerry king signature warlock.

I played on this fine guitar and was impressed. I half expected it to be an Indonesian made insult to Death fans. It wasn't. Fine craftsmanship. Excellent factory setup, although in the wrong tuning. After playing it for 20 minutes or so, I realized that it really needs to be played through a vintage Marshall Valvestate to perfectly mimic Chuck's attack. (Ahem...) Tube amps are a bit too warm to replicate Chuck's tone. I might add that the scale length wasn't as much as an adjustment for me as I thought it would be. This guitar is simple an effective like an AK47. It does what you need it to superbly, nothing more, nothing less.
