This product is way worth the money. I can't tell the diffrence between this one and a boss footswich. I also have the stereo delay made by arion and it works very good. I don't know how I played with out them. I say that this brand and product is well worth the money.

This pedal doesnt put nothing but fuzz out doesn't even make palm mutes sound good and its sounds like pure fuzz you can get from turning up the gain on a cheap amp, just buy the real metal master its well worth it.

I use this pedal with my Bass to get a good Scorpions-style sound. As a stand-alone pedal the sound is pretty good, but I really get a cool effect combining it with my Arion Stereo Chorus pedal (#SCH-Z) (placed in-line after this pedal). My only complaint is that the battery cover broke after a month of light use. For house and garage work or for learning about pedals it is a good value.

I had one of these back in the 80's. Although it is not the best pedal in the world, it is good for the price if you are just beginning or on a budget and just need something to get you by for a while. I played alot of gigs with it and it served me well. I would say that for teh price you can't beat it, which is true to a point, but you could spend a little more and get a better pedal if you can afford it, but if not, then this is the way to go. My only complaints is that it has a plastic body, but it did hold up well (until I let my drunk buddy borrow it and he got mad at his girlfriend and threw a temper tantrum and then also threw the pedal) The distortion sound is good, but is a bit noisy. And finally, as someone else mentioned, the battery runs down faster if you fail to unplug the cables, which is a real hassle after a while, so a power adaptor is the way to go with this. I have bought another one since then and do use it. I have other pedals and even a multi effects pedal that has all different distortions on it, but I use this one on a few tunes because I do get some sound that I do like out of it that I can't get from the other pedals.

I bought one of these in 1983 and it still works well and sounds great today (23 years!). I need to replace it only because the case got smashed by my own fault but it still works. If you treat it well, it will last a life time. Battery life? Get a 'wall wart' power supply and forget about batteries.
