I have an Arion analog delay that I traded something (don't remember what) for in 1982. I used it last Saturday night as I have literally hundreds of times before. You can't buy one here anymore but if you see one elsewhere...buy it.

I was really happy with the sounds I got from this lofi echo box. Its not a real pronounced delay but it adds an ambient reverb to the overall sound of my guitar. It also has little bits of versatility so its not a boring one trick pony. Overall I like it better than a number of delays I've heard which cost five times as much, but if your looking for a memory man then buy a memory man.

I got it yesterday and pluged it in and it sounded great! The delay was a little quiet but i expected much worse. I have been playing guitar for 3 years and thats the best value i've seen for any pedal. Yes they are made of plastic but if you take care of them then you will be fine.

At a price point that's hard to argue with, the Arion SAD-3, when used judiciously, will provide clean "reverb" for guitar amps that aren't equipped with a spring (e.g. Behringer GM-108). Perhaps because it's an analog (bucket brigade) device, the SAD-3 doesn't obscure the delicate, bell-like overtones of the Ernie Ball Super Slinky strings on my beloved Peavey T-60. For my purposes, this is an excellent, very musical accessory.

This is a nice pedal. Not recommended for professional players, as with all Arions, but good if you play guitar as a hobby. Awesome short delay for the price. The controls range from a reverb-like effect to a repeated delay which sounds great, especially on high note hammer-ons/pull offs. If you're a low budget guitar player looking for a delay pedal, definitely buy this.
