The DDM-1 does what it needs to do. I have two of them hooked ala Joe Satriani. It has an incredible sound this way. Many others have more of a delay but for 95% of music, it is not needed. This one works very well.

Just what you'd expect from a digital delay, with a range which goes from reverb to slapback and a bit beyond. Excellent value.

To folks who were disappointed in the 400ms maximum delay, you'll find an easy mod inside - the pedal has an internal trimmer with which you can approximately double this easily.

Either way, sounds good, price is right (especially if you get one on sale) and hasn't let me down yet.

I received this pedal last week. I thought I would try to get a "surf" setting on it-but I could not. That is a job for a reverb-type effect. However,I was able to get some decent settings on it-enough to consider using it for recording purposes. You will have to experiment with this unit yourself-and I believe you will like this pedal, especially for the price you will pay.

I bought two since they were so cheap. One delay gives you a standard delay voicing BUT with two delays, you get a Joe Satriani like voicing with the full echo sound found in his slow songs. Play with the feedback to get the desired effect. The only drawback is that the delay time is only 400ms where most go to 800ms. Still a great value buy for those wanting to try out a digital delay.

I've have this for 3 years and it still works like a charm amazing pedal. if you won't a delay but don't have much money BUT IT NOW!!!! I might get another one to have a short and long delay on my board!
