Surprising Find

Many people would never think of this guitar, but in person it is fantastic looking ("Wow!") and great sounding. It is easy to play. The case is attractive, but it does seem a bit impractical. I had a similar guitar with a spruce top (No longer made?!) which I liked better due to it's wider sonic range, but this is a fine instrument.

Ok. So I was a little skeptical about spending 1800 bones on a foreign made guitar. Boy am I glad I played it at a store. Let's put it this way, I'm very picky about my tone. I played a martin acoustic that was priced at 3grand and it was ok, but not for me. After about an hour I tried the cheaper, foreign, dy62c. Oh my gosh. I bought it right then.

I’ve played for 38 years and played Martins, Taylors, Gibson and several custom built guitars, this guitar is amazing to play and the sound that comes out of this guitar is second to none! I would recommend this guitar for any serious musician.

Beautiful appointments, great tone. A sheer joy to play and the electronics are top-notch. You MAY find a Takamine, Taylor, or Martin out there that sounds better, but doubt it!

I have performed with Kazuo Yairi guitars for 22 years and this is my absolute favorite in all areas,(tone ,action , good looks, you name it!)The 62c can deliver sweet mid range that I do not seem to get out of other guitars and it keeps getting better. One thing you should do is to use D'adario EJ16's on this guitar, you will be very glad you did!
