Alvarez' legendary workmanship shines through on the very-affordable RC10. A select spruce top rings out with warm projection enhanced by mahogany back and sides. Rosewood fretboard and bridge and a genuine mosaic rosette combine with gold tuners for a sumptuous look. Low action and optimal string spacing make it easy for novices to master.

Amazing guitar

I bought this guitar as soon as it came out, and i have to say it is one of the best ones i've ever played. Mine looks exactly like the picture, so it as a very sleek classic look. It has a beautiful rich sound, expecially right after you put on new strings, and the shape of the guitar fits perfectly on the lap of the player. Many of my friends have played it and loved it. This guitar however is not for someone with short and/or small fingers as the fret board is rather wide.

This guitar is great for beginner/intermedaite classical players. I have played on it multiple times and I really enjoy the feel of the body style, and I love the nylon/steel combination of strings. The gold tuners are very artisic and beautiful, along with the soundhole inlay. I would recommend this to any classical player.

Not What I Expected

Like someone posted before, the guitar I recived is not the one pictured. It has a satin orange finish and a rosette that is not nearly as nice as the one pictured. In fact, I wasn't even sure it was the right guitar, but it says Alvarez RC10 in the soundhole. Overall, it is a good guitar, it has a rather dead sounding string, but I am hoping that will change once I switch the strings. I bought this guitar for a travel guitar, something that isn't cumbersome to carry around. This guitar is very light and has alot of high and low end sound, but I find the mid range to be lacking, once again, hoping that will change with the strings.

Guys, I have to tell you, this guitar is perfect for me. This is my second guitar and although it doesn't have the bells and whistles of my first, it's tones are perfect for my voice and is easy to play. I heartily recommend this guitar for a beginner.

I ordered this guitar a few months ago and like it very much. I will say this, the guitar looks NOTHING like the picture that is displayed on this web page! The sound whole design is not as nice as in the picture, the tuners are silver and not gold, and the body is not light in color. It is orange-ish and somewhat of a satin finish, not clear coated. But it is a good guitar to learn on. I had never played guitar before and this is my first. I recommend the Korg GA-30 tuner and the CC-1 Alvarez guitar case. It’s an awesome case at a good price.
