I love this amp. I just got it recently, but I have played with it constantly. I love all the effects and most of them sound wonderful. I am an intermediate guitar player and this is a perfect amp, especially for the low price. Overall, I just advise you to buy the amp, no matter what your skill level is.

Good practice amp

This is a good amp to practice with, or if you are a beginner to start out with. It has a good amount of effects, the only problem is, it's alittle hard to program then. It took me a few days to figure it all out. But I do not like the distortion, but that doesn't really matter to me since I have a pedal for that. Overall its a pretty good amp to practice with, or play at a friends house, but since it is only 30 watts it isn't very loud at all.

Best amp for the money!

Easy to dial-in and program, lightweight, basic/decent look, sounds great, has a crazy amount of tones and effects at the twist of a knob, well made (people breaking these things, must be harsh on them, banging them around, yanking cables, etc.), and at clearance pricing.... it's dirt cheap! The only thing lacking, is that almost all of the distortion tones sound rather similar, and unfortunately rather muddy when you turn the gain value up. However, it's not because of the amp.... it's the cruddy stock speaker! Buy a Celestion and be amazed at how much better it sounds. Don't believe me or don't want to spend the extra money? Use the aux speaker output and run the combo (as a head unit) into your favorite cab........ or try running it direct for recording. I own the Wildfire 60, but I've played them all, and with the exception of a few extra features, the 15, 30, and 60, are all the same. This is, by far, the best modeling amp you can buy for anywhere near $100 bucks. If it had a 12AX7 in the pre-amp, it would be perfect.

i had this about for a year, problems.... where to start, first making effects is a hassle. its just to confusing trying to figure out what meens what, prepare to take some time to make at least desent effects. the effects are good like every thing else but the dis is just too muddy and even if you get it to sound some what good your going to get ALOT of feed back, o and dont for get the annoying hum. not very loud at all eithere. the inputes are plastic! i had to super glue them after what they do, then my main input "guitar in" broke i have to open it to pluge any thing in. i got this as my first amp cuz i was just starting out and i didnt have that much many, and had no idea about amps, now that iv been playing and know i have gotten better things and this doesnt cut it. i use mine for a mic amp, it works well for that lol. what will use your for? a table?

This is my only amp (unfortunately). The sound and effects on this amp are second rate. I recently bought a digitech rp80 effects pedal and it made me realize how bad the effects and noise reduction on this amp really are. It has a constant buzz that gets really annoying. With a good pedal this amp can be okay thought. Definitely not performance amp though it is pretty loud. I wouldn't suggest this amp unless you want just a ton of volume for you money and aren't worried about sound quality.
