The AG60 acoustic guitar amp is capable of handling up to four inputs, making it perfect for performing singer-songwriters, duos, or groups looking for an easy and great-sounding way to amplify multiple instruments and voices without having to cart around multiple pieces of gear. The AG60 is designed to maximize projection, with its angled-up wedge shape. For warm, full-frequency sound, the cabinet features 2 - 8" studio monitor-style speakers for soft mid and low-frequency response and a coaxial tweeter for ultra-clear, sparkling high end. Channels 1 & 2 each feature two combination inputs which both accept a 1/4'" unbalanced or XLR balanced input, so you can plug in a variety of instrument/microphone combinations. Input level controls accommodate a variety of level needs, and peak indicators warn you when your signal is getting too hot. Three-band EQs with sweepable midrange on each channel make it easy to get a solid instrument tone on one and clear vocal sound on the other. Also included on each channel is a selectable effects unit with 16 possible effects, including reverbs, delays, and choruses. Additionally, the rear panel has an effects loop for using external effects units with or without the built-in choices. A master input gives you greater control over your tone and output when used in conjunction with the input gain knobs. For quiet playing, there's an 1/8" stereo headphone jack, and for pre-recorded accompaniment, there's an 1/8" stereo aux input. Finally, rear-panel balanced or unbalanced line outs with independent level control afford you more control when you send your signal to a live sound PA or recording console. The AG60 is a full-featured amp, with plenty of power to handle any venue, and a wide array of tone-shaping options that will give your instrument and voice the exact care they deserve.

The most versitile acoustic amp out there

This amp does a great job in smaller rooms, but as others have noted, the input preamps peak quite easily. It can sound rather boomey when placed on the floor. I set it up on a pub table when available for a much better tone. In light if that, it would have been great to include a speaker stand socket on the bottom. Another wish list item would be phantom power. All in all an affordable good sounding solution.

IMPRESSIVE INDEED

Bought this amp specifically to use as a small apartment pa system. Turns out it was an EXCELLENT choice. I run two Shure SM48 microphones through it-one on each channel (NO preamp needed, but will add one later). Lots of power and tone control and the built in effects that I use for vocals (Reverb, Delay) were above average in quality. Sound was rich and full and very satisfying. Haven't used it on acoustic instruments yet-but expect the same excellent results. Great to own something this quality that is also portable. Highly recommended as small practice or home studio pa.

This amp is very convenient, but breaks up easily on the input stage. Having 4 inputs is a great idea, since I'm often joined on mu solo gigs by a guest musicians or two. I set the main at full volume and bring up the individual inputs as needed. The peak lights come on with very little effort. All in all, a good amp for small room gigs.

Great AC amp!

I just bought this a few weeks ago. I have played a long time and know what I am doing. I was looking for a decent AC amp to play single venue gigs and play in church. I tried this out on Easter and the think is awesome. BE CAREFUL THOUGH... I played in the music store and it sounded pretty good, I took it home with one of my two ACs and it was way to boomey. I uesed my BOSS AC2 pedal and it cleaned right up and sounded great. One thing I would warn about, there is no footswitch for the effects. Bummer. Not too bad on the guitar side but you do not want to mess with the vocal side when you are just speaking and not singing. GREAT value. I play a Gibson J30 with an LR BAGGS Bridge Pup. And a Epiphone Masterbuild with onboard Pup. Both sound great and the 4 channels is more than most will need. Has direct out also.
