Solid guitar but very much for a beginner

Great 7 string if you've never played one or just want to mess with one. I own 2 Ibanez RG 7 seven strings and both feel better than this. I've played other Schecter 7's(which I hated) and this one is better for me(because the Hellraiser 7 is a piece of crap) but it's still very amateur. The neck is a bit wide for a 7 string and it's obviously not a top of the line guitar but then again it's not that expensive. It does sound good and gives you a good range. The bridge is something I like on a 7 string(mine have a tremolo and fixed so this was a new thing for me but I loved it). For the price it's a good deal although I personally don't think it would stand up to my Ibanez because the neck is pretty beefy which is pretty stupid for a 7 but anyway, worth trying and overall a nice guitar.

A very good beginner 7 string. the neck pickup is a little muddy clean but the bridge pickup sings and has good harmonics. But both pickups really shine with distortion. the only real problem i had with this guitar is the fact that the lower cutout is a too small for my hands making it hard to play the higher frets on the lower strings, but other than that its a solid guitar.

This is my first 7-string and it is perfect for people new to 7-string guitars. the finish is great, it's great for metal, and it's other qualities: unexplainable. I cannot recommend this guitar highly enough.

This is an incredible guitar for the money - I bought this as my first 7 string just as a knockaround guitar, but it turned out to be such a great instrument I recorded my first solo EP with it.

Body/neck combo is comfortable and very solid - it's near impossible to knock this thing out of tune. The pickups give the strings a great snap when it's overdriven, plus you can pull off harmonics like there's no tomorrow.

The pics of the blue paint do it no justice, as the real thing looks much richer & deeper. A great guitar, you won't be disappointed.

Your first 7-string guitar

I got this one a few years ago, when it had a different head shape. It was my first 7-string guitar, and I was going to just try-and ended up with keeping it. The finish was ok- not perfect or flawless, but well done. Pickups were Duncan Designed humbackers which had prenty power but not much of a clean sounding pickups. I might have swapped them with Duncan's... The frets were jumbo side, wide and tall. You have to be aware of that all Korean schecter guitars need fret jobs and setup to kill all the buzzes across the fretboard. I took care of that and did enjoy playing it. My only complain was that the guitar was VERY heavy, at least for my skinny self. But for the price, I would say, it's a great guitar with a lot of potential.
