this mini amp's sound nice for the first couple days and is pretty loud for its size, but in two days that i had it the tone of the amp started to get muddy and distorted. and if you do buy this amp DO NOT use a 9v plug-in power supply because you'll fry the amp in a few seconds. the pots are also very cheap. all of the danelectro equipment that i have used usually breaks in a day or two so your better off buying a different amp such as a marshal mini amp

I bought this unit knowing that for the low price I was paying for it, it wasn't going to be that great. The first thing I noticed when I got this amp was that the tone quality was pretty disappointing, whether it was clean or distorted. After owning this unit for less than three weeks, the speaker died on me, leaving it only usable as a headphone amp. I have many friends who also own this amp, however, whose speakers are still working just fine, so I guess mine was a fluke. That said, I still wouldn't recommend this amp to anyone unless all you need is amplification. If all you care about is being able to practice and you don't mind a very cheap sounding tone (and you know a thing or two about hardware maintenance), then this is a very economic purchase. Otherwise, put in a little bit more money for a better amp and you'll be much better off.

Its the best mini amp. Its loud for its size. Great vintage sound and best distortion. Buy it.

I bought this thing expecting it to actually make sound, but the only way you can even hear it is by cranking up the overdrive and that makes an awful metaly sound. Its a cute little thing to have around but don't expect to get any use out of it.

I wasn't expecting much, but this little amp blew me away. I got it primarily for practicing and use with headphones, but the output sound is really amazing for such a little amp. At the current price you can't go wrong.
